MAYhem 2018 30 Day Rule/Focus Pix & Discussion

Thats the spirit !

 

I was going work in a MAYhem shave this week, but I can see that I am outclassed. I'll sit back, watch, and be amazed.

 

I have accumulated quite a bit of shave gear over the past few months, it's kinda scattered between a back of the door organizer in my closet, the medicine cabinet and under my sink. Apparently my wife had taken notice. While I was tending the smoker yesterday she cleared a shelf in my closet. Today for the first time I put all my shave gear in one place, while I decided how I was going organize things in the closet and for a photo op. I put everything on a bench we have at the foot of our bed. Quite the eye opener. I have fallen down the rabbit hole.

Well thats over with lol. Actually was a way better shave than the other razors i made and the shavette i did for a month. No cleanup required with another razor. I'm fine with that shave . The knife was worth the sacrifice. Now back to the normal routine again. Have a great night fellas .

The welded butter knife shavette earns @9nein9 a nomination for the big cohones award (mostly because he converted his wife’s silverware to a razor without her knowledge). It is also added to his innovative string of razorlike contraptions.

@cmorris357’s bread scorer earns him nominations in the big cohones category as well as best shave with an object least suitable for shaving.

I was expecting the worst to be honest. Found with the way the handle is placed its easier than the shavette was.

 

Man of Steel nomination is on the board. Last year was more an epic battle of titans with bloodshed and carnage. This year seems to be more about designing ridiculous but well designed contraptions. The MAYhem is strong in this one... congrats for the nomination @9nein9. Somebody’s gotta have an epic week to challenge you on this one. Of course there is the Hail Mary of the menthol application. Anyone? Anyone?
