Who is crazy enough to go hunting in a tropical storm, I am. In between rain bands somebody just as crazy was set up and selling. He had these for me. A 1930 Windsor ( I think? ) New Long Comb and a 1940 Milord Tech. Both are in great shape for there age and being found at the flea market in a tropical storm
Two packages received today. From the Land of OZ, the Gillette Super Adjustable long handle O4 1969 and the Gillette Flare Tip Black handle N1 1968. From the UK the 1940’s British Gillette Fat handle Tech, I didn't realise the fat handle tech is bloody light as a grasshopper.
Bloody pommy bastard told me was a fat handle tech which turns out to be a thin handle tech, bastard pommy grasshopper. Oh well never mind I'll keep her in my den so she has a home, and I'll give her a shave.
I have a harder time finding the thin handles than the fat handles. Still should be an awesome shave!
I see all of your points, but have you really looked at your haul as a whole? I stopped being able to figure out what I have and don't have, so I laid out the whole shebang this afternoon and got a surprise! Now that I see the problem, I can work on a focus. In short, I thought I was a collecter, I turned out to be a hoarder, and I can now become a collecter again. Don't get me wrong, I love my collection, but it needs a focus and proper storage/display/use. Having 16 techs in a box in my closet isn't really how I saw myself as a collector. Now I can sort, thin-down, organize, clean, polish, sell, display and really focus.
I see a few you probably don't need that you can put in the mail to me. I don't see any injectors so maybe we can work a trade.
Accepting your disorder is the first step to getting better. You seem well diversified in the collection/hoard. Going to eliminate multiples down to only duplicates? Unless you've got more brushes tucked away I can see where to put all that PayPal credit.
I bought this HP Chromebook last week, I'm rather happy with it. Fast, easy and doesn't constantly have to be updated.
Well, after months of refusing to pay through the nose for a fatboy, I bought a re-plated Fatboy. I give up.
I got these two boxes of stuff in the same pack. It was mostly treasure with a little junk thrown in. There is a G1 Schick, two Gem MM Clog-prufs, a GEM Damaskeene and a Damaskeene OC base plate, an Every-Ready brush, two Christy razors, Feather SE blades, Gem blades, razor holders, a Classic Samurai shavette, a Techmatic razor, and much more.
$7.88 Baili BD176. I put the junk handle away forever. Who said these were Tech clones?? The head has a curved bottom plate interface with the cap, more an Old Type with a safety bar and corner tabs. Fit is very good. Mild but very rigid design. Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
