Although I do have two doctors to see in the next two days. We'll see how all that goes. In the meantime I went back for one more shave on the Fatip with Sharp Star using Jeeves Bay Rum and the big Stirling synthetic. I tried to back of some on the brush loading as this brush can hold enough to wash a battleship with. Great lather, two full passes and touch ups and the near-BBS finish is awesome. If I were ever to go minimalist, the Fatip is a razor high on the list for my daily shaver. Fantastic feel and effectiveness and all it requires is to pay attention. Nice!

SOTD 20180531. Brush: M keramiek / Tuxedo. Castle Forbes Lavender shaving cream (sample). Schick injector type L1. Schick Proline B-20 (8). Rebul Ice EdC. The brush performed great without problems for 29 times/days - passed the test.

Talbot Thursday Superb lather and scent today. The Rockwell mowed down my stubble like it wasn't there with nary a hint of irritation let alone any weepers. This is definitely the razor I would use if I were in a hurry. Thu. 5/31/18 Good morning gentlemen. A truly fine three pass shave today with the Muhle R41 loaded with a Personna blade. Fantastic lather from the Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements 1K shave soap. I am smooth and refreshed. Enjoy your day friends ☺
Thursday's Shave Proraso Pre Shave LaToja Jayaruh #292 HMW Badger Gem Damaskeene CVS Carbon Steel SE CWR Thayer's Peach WH Tabac I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The LaToja Shaving Soap face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #292 High Mountain White badger brush. I did two passes with the Gem Damaskeene Razor with a CVS Carbon Steel SE blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Peach WH and then Tabac AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
A shame really. I haven't had a bad shave with any GEM that I've tried. The Clog - Pruf is perhaps my favorite but, this Contour has been a very pleasant surprise. It has nice weight and good balance. Plus it's s/s with a bend that feels natural in the hands. To me at least it feels natural and intuitive. The push button mechanism is straightforward and simple as it locks the blade in firmly. A really nice razor to be honest......

Easy, thick, slick, lather. Vintage Wilkinson Sword “Light Brigade” NEW Chromium still in the Gillette Fat Boy. Excellent smooth, close, shave. I finished with Stirling Sandpiper aftershave. Bob
