Hee,hee...I hear yah!! Seems like it's always time for a new bootle of Skin Bracer or Day-Logic Brisk! I love that stuff, I probably over use them...but hey! Life is short! We have to enjoy they finer things while we can....Right?!!! Hard to tell the difference between those two....SB has a slightly stronger scent but same scent and the Day Logic, while a slightly softer but same scent has More Menthol! Both are very class-acts!!!
They can only be loved if you can get hold of one - hint-hint PS I am in UK where they very rarely appear.
Fri 8th June Omega 11126 Lea Classic Cream Schick I1 Schick Twin- Japan [ 13 ] Lea Classic A/S Lotion One of the good things about retirement is the fact that Shaves do not have to be rushed, though invariably one does tend to do so. Today making rare use of a cream , I promised myself that I would not rush particularly on my right cheek where often I do not get the finish as good as in other areas. I know many regard the use of creams as an easy option to soap, but this Lea is really nice. Pleased to say I got my oft neglected side squeaky clean, before moving on to other areas. Must give credit to this little Razor which really performs well with a Twin blade, I actually prefer it to an M Adjustable, and IMHO is one of the best easily available Schicks that takes a Twin blade.Very pleased to say that at the end of a very Smooth & Comfortable Shave, the resultant overall finish was probably the best I have had in the last week since using my Type F.
Fri. 6/8/18 Good morning friends. A fine three pass shave today with the Schick N1. Marvelous lather from the Arko shave cream. I am smooth and refreshed. Enjoy your day friends. ☺️
SOTD June 8, 2018 Prep: Cold water and Stirling mentholated pre-shave soap Blade: Schick Proline AC Razor: RazoRock Black Hawk Brush: Omega 10049 boar Soap: Mitchell's Wool Fat Post: Witch hazel, Fine American Blend aftershave Haven't shaved since Tuesday, so the Black Hawk was a good choice to mow it down. 06/07/2018 - Thursday Night Shave.... Last night was a Jayaruh Night - 2018 TOST LE brush and a GEM Jr. Bar Lather Catcher with a Jayaruh handle - i have three Jayaruh LC handles and this long handle with the ingenious Gem Jr bar design just gives me the best shaves and the angle comes NATURAL. I agree, and my sniffer has a PhD in Scentology and a Masters in Fragranology....Whoot!! I do believe these two do have the same scent....I believe SB has the scent volume on 8 and the Brisk has it set at 6. BUT!!! The Brisk has more menthol. That doesn't affect the smell but simply makes it COLDER! Me Likey!

Terrible picture, but I wanted to share how a dab of Cremo, some Barbasol, and a little water can make for a great lather. The other parts of this nice Saturday morning shave are: GEM 1912 razor, Stirling boar brush, "Grinding Bowl" from Daiso, Thayers Lavender Witch hazel, Stirling Tea Tree shave balm. I love weekend shaves that are not rushed
Nice shave today. Veddy nice. 1910 GJB PAL Super Referb horse brush BEA shave stick WH Dollar Tree original scent AS The Dollar Tree AS has Caster oil in it looks like. Not a strong scent but nice and feels pretty good! The cheap chinese horse brush is still sheding. Meh. Not a big deal with me. It lathers great.
