As it was only about fifteen hours from my last shave I opted for the Featherweight but stuck with the Thayers as I wanted to try and gauge if this soap was as nourishing as yesterday's Eufros.

Good morning friends. A very relaxing three pass shave today with the PAL Injecto-Matic. Speick shave cream is one of my favorites, excellent performance! I finished with Old Spice... smooth and refreshed. Enjoy your day friends. ☺️

 

I've been admiring that faux ivory handle. It really is beautiful.

RazoRock Tuscan Oud today. 20 seconds to load the Elite Razor/WSP Silvertip brush. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Vintage Wilkinson Sword “Light Brigade” NEW Chromium still in the Gillette Fat Boy. Excellent smooth, close, shave. I finished with RazoRock Tuscan Oud aftershave.

Same set-up as yesterday's fine shave. The Nacet blade shows no sign of weakness after it's 7th trip around my face. But it's Saturday and that means blade change for next week!

 

Today's shave, in sentence form:

Began in the shower with the trusty Dial 4 Men Sub Zero Fresh Reaction Body Soap, to set things in motion. For the shave itself, I used Rise Super Foam, with the Gillette Sensor Deux Pivote DisposeABLEment razor. Followed with Gillette Series Cool Wave Afershave Splash, a choice which works with any of my 3 creams and my warm-weather soaps.

Initially, I didn't think I would like it, but once I saw it in person, I have come to greatly appreciate the intricate veins and the lovely warm colour of this vintage faux Ivory.
I have to say that it is becoming one of my favourite handle materials that I have ever seen.
The only issue is that it is quite challenging to get good photos of it compared to my other brushes.

just spent a week in Paris, and managed to find some Gillette Bleue Extra... I didn't find them as sharp as GSB's, but man, they are smooth.. Now, Envy.... right from the get go I've had high hopes for this soap, and guess what? It did not disappoint! Lush, slick, great protection... This was one of those shaves where everything just clicked, to provide a shave that has you thinking to yourself that it really doesn't get any better than this... finished off with Santal Auster Post-Shave Salve, and PG02 Cozé, yes, it really doesn't get any better than this... I've just two things to say to conclude this review.. firstly, the next time I visit Paris I'll be buying more GBE's, and secondly, I cannot wait until the next release from 'The Seven Collection'.... which has easily made it's way into my 'Top Tier' soaps.. colour me happy!
