I got my stirling spice today in the mail, its everything I hoped for, also picked up the bath soap to. Im pretty happy with it, it goes great with OS aftershave.

I have Spice soap&AS.....good that you use OS aftershave, as Doc Ezlovan came quite close to getting it to be like Shulton-IMO.

Not a soap question but a Stirling community question; hopefully thats acceptable.

I have several Stirling Aftershave balms and really like the scents, feel and longevity of the ones I have. I have never tried their aftershave splashes though; what is this difference or reasoning behind one or the other?

Some people with oily skin may find the balm perpetuates the problem where as the splash contains alcohol and witch hazel may help prevent the excess formation of oil on the skin. It also has a toning effect where it tightens the skin a bit. I find them both to be superb products. I also find the scent longevity of the splash to have a little more staying power then the balm.

So apparently I’m bordering on too many tubs of Stirling soap. I had to leave town for four days of work, and really felt like I should take two soaps. So I packed my new Glacial MITA and then went to the basement for another menthol soap. THATS when I found a brand new tub of Frozen Tundra I didn’t know I had.

So fast forward to the hotel shave report. Frozen Tundra is COLD for not being labeled as glacial!! The scent will take me a while as I allow my nose a chance fully discover all it has to offer. I had to do that with Ozark Mountain, and that scent went from a don’t refill to one of my top favorites.

Glacial MITA smells identically awesome to regular MITA, but holy smokes does it pack a punk with a giant fist of ice. I love it!!!

I started today with Iced Pineapple. Love the menthol kick of this soap - It is plenty for me. The scent of this soap is fantastic!

For tomorrow I think I'll give the Glacial Spearmint soap and balm a whirl. I've used the matching bath soap a few times already.
