  1. Had a very nice comfortable, and smooth shave this morning with the Schick G model Injector razor this morning. I made it an all Old Spice shave and the Schick was loaded with a new Personna Chrome Comfort Coated blade. I think Stirling Soap Co. Really came close to matching the old Shulton Old Spice Formula. Hope everyone has a great weekend.

  2. It really is a fight for me to not order that soap. Tomorrow will have to a old dpiceday I think. Might even copy cat your razor selection.

  3. It's a great soap Fuzz, and you can lather it with your eye's closed, and no blooming required. I buy the sample pucks so that I can try more scents when I do an order. My Semogue SOC brush really likes it too, it eat's it right up. I load it like I hate it.

  4. That GJB handle looks like fresh nickle! Did you have her replated?
From this angle, looks like that razor was picked up at your local drug store yesterday...

  6. Lol. I have a couple of stirling samples. They do lather easy.

No replate. That is that last one I bought. Just in really really good condition.

After the Featherweight yesterday I'd thought I'd use it's sibling, the G-Bar.
A very nice, relaxed, three pass Sunday morning shave, although the blade on only it's fourth use is finished.
I hope you enjoy your Sunday.
  8. Beautuful razor. Do you get more shaves from SS or CS blades?

Last shave with the Supply razor. It was on loan and I'm grateful for the experience to try it out. This is actually yesterday's shave. Was too busy to post until this morning. Anyway, have a great day!

  12. Thanks very much.
I only get 2-3 shaves from the CS but I find the shave so smooth I wish they were available in the UK.
Edit: I normally get 5-6 from SS don't know what went wrong with this one.

    Schick Type N3
    Schick Twin - Japan [ 2 ]
    Pitralon Classic A/S Lotion

A rather busy weekend as out both days very early for me, so needed good dependable Shaves. I chose the N3
with a Fresh Twin Blade. Because they last so long, one tends to forget just how good they are.
Today I used the N3 again having used it on Sat, if anything todays Shave with the blade on its second outing
was better than yesterday. Both Shaves face strokingly good, everybody must try out a Twin blade at some time . They may be expensive but a good blade is more essential to a great Shave than a pricey AS/ Cologne.

    Monday's Shave

    Proraso Pre Shave
    CTAPT Shaving Cream
    Jayaruh #288
    Gem 1907 Lather Catcher
    Sha-Ve-Zee SE
    CWR
    Thayer's Peach WH
    English Leather

I originally scheduled this shave for yesterday, but I missed for being in the hospital, so I just did not shave yesterday. I had wanted to try out the vintage Sha-Ve-Zee blades I recently got.

I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The CTAPT Shaving Cream face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #288 Synthetic brush. I did two passes with the Gem 1907 Lather Catcher Razor with a Sha-Ve-Zee SE blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Peach WH and then English Leather AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
