Very vintage beehive brush ... It's surprisingly heavy and seems like it's made of bone. Probably restore it to a nice badger.
My wife and I stopped by an antique store yesterday, in a town about 40 minutes from our home. We stop by there every time we get up that way together. Anyways I picked these up. The one between the boxes is a King Razor Manufacturing Co “silver king”. It has fancy scales, and needs little clean up. All The others need more work but they were only $2 each. They are as follows. Top middle: Fram 92 Bottom middle: Geneva Cutlery Far right top to bottom George wostenholm and sons pipe razor Joseph Elliot celebrated razor J R Torrey And another GEORGE wostenholm pipe razor. None of the boxes are original to the razors. The one box is interesting as it’s a 2 razor box marked WM Greaves & Sons Sheaf Works. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Oh and I forgot. My wife picked up a really nice G bar razor for herself. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Donating stuff before I move, haven't seen anything lately but came across this Hamilton windup at a can't pass up price.
When it comes to pretty much any working winder, the committee always understands. All hail the committee.
Not shave related. This is what my Daughter got me for Father’s Day. So proud of Her. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Received in the mail today from @Kypros Christodoulides in Cyprus. An Ikon El Jefe head, which he polished, on a Maggard MR5 handle, nice and hefty. I know these early ones had some alignment issues, but looking at You Tube videos, not a big deal. Now it's time to start looking for blades for it without spending a lot, yep, I'm very frugal............
Fine details, but so far an E4 has been my favorite of adjustable Gillettes. Congrats, hope it cleans up well and shaves great, and you got it for the right price! Tapatalk Via Kyocera
