Thur 14th June Omega 1137 boar Tabac soap ER 1914 Gem S/S [ 4 ] Tabac A/S Lotion Though I much prefer Razors with longer handles , I find that without too much trouble I adapt my grip so that I can handle the Razor without any problems. The Shave went off very smoothly and without any problems attained a first class overall finish. Though this Razor works well or me , I enjoy using the 1924 a bit more.
Thursday's Shave Proraso Pre Shave Sterling Lime Jayaruh #291 Gem Featherweight CVS Carbon Steel SE CWR Thayer's Peach WH Lucky Tiger I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The Sterling Lime Shaving Soap face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #291 Synthetic brush. I did two passes with the Gem Featherweight Razor with a CVS Carbon Steel SE blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Peach WH and then Lucky Tiger AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
Wednesday - June 13, 2018 - SPEICKTACULAR Shave! Back to the Personna Floating head II ( the 2 is the blue version that was advertised for using there Twin Blades, The orginal floating head was black and that came with a single Personna 74 - but the only difference is the colour - there exactly the same - I have both) The Modern Japan Schick Twin blade on 2nd shave - the blades can compete with the vintage twins - there friggin' awesome - shame the cost a lot - but for a "injector head" its worth it for the fix! I am just loving these Razor More and More - I am really dialed into the angle, its not a noisey shave - but boy it sure is efficient! at first you feel like you did not get a really close shave - than a hour later you start rubbing your face - and u cant stop~!!! Petting a dolphin is fun!!!!!!! SPEICK!!!!! cant say more than what has been said - this STICK might be the best shave stick - its so darn slick!! Also - the using the PRE ELECTRIC SHAVE is great for the warm weather when u don't want a oil - nice hidden secret for wet shaving - u dont need to use it for a electrical device - its great with COLD STEEL! SEMOGUE 610 Boar - no surprise - semogues rule the boar world. Do i need to add the disclaimer of YMMV? Nah ! If you cant get a good shave with this gear - than you need to get a remington and plug in- haha peace - JAMIE!!

I think this great little razor may eclipse the Pal Injecto-matic. Happy Shaving one and all.

Fri 15th June Omega 1ooo5 Blues Shaving Soap Gem MMBT Gem S/S [ 5 ] Pitralon Original A/S Lotion I think todays choice of Razor was suited to a blade on the wane- the MMBT. I have reduced my armoury of Gem MM and now only have one of each variation. This is my first use of this Bullet Tip, which I have kept as it is a nice clean example. Though known as a mild Shaver I quite like its weight, and though the blade was a bit tired I had quite a nice Shave,and with a bit of work got a more than passable Shave.This really must be a great Daily Shaver for those with light beards.
Fri. 6/15/18 Good morning friends. A fine three pass shave today with the Muhle R41 loaded with a Personna blade. Fantastic lather from the Palmolive Cool Menthol shave cream. I finished with Old Spice... smooth and refreshed. Enjoy your day friends. ☺️
**can't put this razor down!** 6/14/18 - Thursday Night Shave - Another amazing shave from the PERSONNA FLOATING HEAD - Modern JAP SCHICK Twin Blade [2] I was in a LILAC mood and normally I choose the VEG (or the VEG Chooses ME!), but I busted out my 2 year old Stephan Lilac bottle that I got from my Barber Vic, forgot how awesome this after shave is. Weather is getting warmer and my skin is different, so no pre shave and no balm. The Catie's Bubbles Literal Lilac is just amazing - this is a luxury cream formula and reminds of TOBS, but better. Brush - is my treasured Semogue Synthetic - limited edition - Portuguese shave forum. peace- Jamie
Cant wait for your review - I been using the floating head for 4 days in a row - Man I love this RAZOR - its so EFFICIENT - especially with a twin loaded - its deceiving because the razor is not loud = so its quietly mowing down whiskers - also it does need extra rinsing - really not a big deal for me as i am NEVER in a rush - what i do is push down the "floating" head under the water and that helps clean it FAST. its a beauty and built very well! the one you are getting still has the DUMMY blade - so u will be its maiden voyage!!! peace!!!!

Todays Shave: Prep: Hot water whisker rinse Soap/Brush: Williams/TOST LE Razor/Blade: 1973 Personna Floating Head Injector/Pro-line B-20 d1 AS: Pinaud Clubman This is the Floating Head in all her Glory...That @EzraCobb /Jamie out of the goodness in his heart gave to me as a gift. Thanks my friend! And as promised, here's the review: This razor is truely unique and unlike any razor I've shaved with before... But up front I'll say, I LOVE IT!! Never gotten a better shave with any razor. This guy is right up there with the best of the best. I got a BBS with one pass without even trying. I think most who try this one fall in love...And then some don't take to it....And I think what it is...is, when you take this one out the first time...Just give up control and take it for a ride. She handles like a Roll Royce. Quiet and with NO FEEDBACK! That no feedback thing I think is what puts some people off...But if you just shave and enjoy the clean super close shave she's gonna give you...Then I think you're gonna Love Her! Definitely aggressive...but feels very Mild! I thought to check and see if there was a blade in it. But each stroke left effortless BBS in it's wake! And I had a 3 1/2 day growth waiting for this. They said this was the first self adjusting injector razor, and I can't argue. It's kind of like an Atra in it's easiness and user friendliness. But make no mistake... This is a Classic Injector designed by ASR/Personna to be the most modern, best injector ever! And in many ways I think they hit their mark. They wanted to make it easy and it is. The folks that don't take to her, I believe it's for that reason...It's too easy, lol! Some folks complain that shes not the prettiest girl in class...I think she's beautiful. Very 70's looking and heavy duty, no nonsense. Like a Bentley Continental....this one is about efficiency and ride comfort. She doesn't have the sinewy lines of an Aston Martin but more boxy like a Rolls. And she won't give you the road feedback like a Lambo, but she will protect you from any uncomfort that the road has waiting. And She will remove your whiskers so fast, you won't believe it. I didn't. One Pass, and it felt like there was no blade in the razor, and I went from almost a 4 day growth to BBS....Congratulations Personna! They went out on a limb and designed an extraordinary unique razor. I'm afraid it was a little too far ahead of it's time. And Gillette was already preparing for the Dumbing Down of Shaving and removing Tradional Wet Shaving from the naked eye. It appears people wanted easy so Gillette gave them carts. But Personna came out with this unique injector that will shave you so close and so easy and only a handful of folks ever found out about it. Thank you Jamie! Now I can add my name to the list of the ones who know and Love this razor. I'm looking forward to more time spent behind the blade on this one. I dug all this about it with only one shave. I can't imagine how great she'll shave after a little bonding.
