15 June 2018 Day 6 of my one set-up for the week. Tomorrow's shave will be the last for this crew....at least the software. The Astra blade is one smooth & sharp performer even after 6 shaves. Need to figure out what to use next week starting Sunday.

Schick G4 razor Personna 74 blade WD Synthetic brush Palmolive Mentholated SC Osage Rub/Witch Hazel w/aloe Tally-Ho Cologne Day 10 and another fabulous shave. This blade shows no signs of degradation at this point and feels great so my face is very very happy again. The Tally-Ho cologne is a find I was lucky enough to get last summer. Nice scent and my bride likes it. Now go enjoy your day folks.

Friday June 15, 2018 Razor: Focus Dynamic Blade: Personna Comfort Coated (3) Pre Shave: DIY Brush: VDH Badger Lather: Proraso Red AS: Mennen afta I`m not sure how to explain this, but I`ll try. The Focus razor is built for a 1/2 DE blade, it has a pivot head, and made in Italy. At first the correct angle was almost impossible (at least for me) to achieve. It kept changing on me. After a complete and difficult WTG pass, I was beginning to get the hang of it. The thoughts of going ATG was a little scary, but what the heck, a journey starts with one step. Ripley`s believe it or not, the upside down angle must have caused the head to fall into the correct position and was much smoother. I have a learning curve to go through. A lot of irritation, but cold water and a hand fan cooled everything down pretty good. I`ll keep at it until I get it right. I DO have a very good shave, everything is smooth and close. Well pleased, God Bless. Bill

SOTD June 15th No pic today Stirling Mentholated Pre-Shave Soap RazoRock Mamba GSB (4) Jeeves of Hudson Street Bay Rum Maseto Classic Finest Fan (30mm, Cruiser Class) Baxter of California Shave Tonic and ASB I decided to put my criticisms of the Game Changer to the test this morning by comparing it against the Mamba. Immediately I could tell a difference, the Mamba was smoother, the angle was more intuitive and it just felt better against the skin. Sure the Game Changer has more blade feel then the Mamba but the Mamba is just as efficient and after three passes I had no need for touch-up. I finished off with the Baxter duo for my daily dose of menthol. Have a great weekend and Father's day everyone! Sent from my Galaxy using Tapatalk
