No more razors! No more razors! No more razors! No more razors! Saying that to myself has been working good for some time. I have passed on a lot of SR over many months-------until today. I could not pass up on these, a pair of early Bokers with commemorative etched blades. They both have some personality issues but nothing that can't be overcome. They will make a nice matched set

Great find. I have that exact one, the SS St Louis. With some careful sanding and polishing, it should come out looking great.

Thank you gentlemen. They will clean up nicely with some high grit W/D and polish. Will make matching scales over the summer to finish them off

Bought this beauty around three months ago. Russian Damask blade created by Russian blacksmith Matveev & Son. Blade and horn scales were fabricated by Hebert Wacker, Master Razormeister,
in Solingen Germany. Price? $1,200. USD.

I put in a silly low bid not expecting to win this one. Riga Razor 6/8 half hollow with a smile. It came with a wickedly sharp edge.

Very nice razor. I’ve bought a few since saying no more for a while. At least I’m not the only one who doesn’t listen to themselves

Hey guys so I am sorry I have been MIA lately mostly due to catching up with work and the store. So I had gotten around to honing my GD. I’m not sure if I had mentioned it before but the razor needed quite a bit of geometry correction. Nothing my 1k stone wasn’t able to fix. Once I had gotten her all ready I can proudly assume that my jnat took her far superior to what my 16k shapton could ever do. She did shave like a beauty. Really did have an absolute wonderful shave despite all my trash talking lol. I did not like the size of the razor as I feel it is a bit too small in shape. Found myself always correcting my fingers for comfort. Other than that she left me bbs and no complaints. I won’t be able to try it again for a while as I have 2 many W&Bs on the bench awaiting listings. Personally, a beginner CAN have a good shave with this razor but I would recommend it gets sent out To a professional before initial use. Not sure how many will take on a GD but a great shave can absolutely be achieved if it is sent out and corrected (if need be)

I found this packed in the TSD raffle I won. Had a nice feel in the hand. It got my interest.

Would cut me but not shave arm hair. Started looking at honing sources. Wasn't even sure if it would take an edge. Looking at @gssixgun I found this for sale. Figured I'd give it a try.

Interesting Zebra Stripes. Any idea if they are etched, or applied??
