Dovo 6/8 Bismark 2 This was the maiden voyage for this NOS 7 year old Bismark. I love the looks of this straight .She has great balance and handles extremely well .The factory edge was acceptable .But I think she will get a refresh on my Escher or Felsner Ruby hone .Very pleased with this razor.

Wednesday Shave 13/16 Japanese Straight 94 Bellman Task Purpose Moribvden Steel Monarch Cutlery Works Had a suburb shave with this razor .She took an extremely keen edge off the J-Nat but still retains a soft and smooth feel .Great weight for a hollow ground razor .Removed whiskers with little effort .Lovely Japanese Razor .
TI Basic Black hollow 7/8, I shaved with it then refreshed the edge for tomorrow's shave, testing a new stone. AdP lathered with a Simpsons 58 and topped off with Lucky Tiger. Cheers, Steve
Today shaved with a NOS Yukisada 13/16 Japanese Frameback. First shave with this one, some great heft to this razor! Tried out the new Omega boar brush and SS...and a few experiments Tried a preshave treatment using a Stirling Lime Coconut shampoo bar... Experimented with a combo SS/SC type concoction...mixed Cremo, M-Bomb and Omega Soap together and was treated to a really great lather! It seemed to keep expanding as I used it!?! Nice menthol tingle, a good froth from the Omega and a slick protection from the Cremo. The boar brush whipped up the lather well...if you can get around the smell that's a great little brush! Finished up with Stirling Barbershop AS, ahhh refreshing! Enjoy your shave! John
A fun change of pace... an asymmetrical Kamisori. I do keep the stamped side (Ura) out and Omote side towards my face. I end up with some very weird contortions, but it is fun. Razor: R. Saito Brush: Semogue Owners Club 2012 SE Badger/Boar combo Soap: Vintage Williams A/S: Razorock Irish Countryside Enjoy your shave! Tom

Pretty much the same shave as yesterday but with the TI 7/8 edge refreshed on the new kid stone, and the smoothness is a bit better. Looks like I got a good rock. Cream was AdP lathered with a 3-band HMW and AS was Harris pink. Cheers, Steve
Great shave today, with an Extra Hollow Ground razor. I had 3 days of very thick, wiry growth, and this razor mowed it down, like it wasnt there. The results were a BDBS(Baby Dolphin Butt Smooth) shave. This a fantastic, non-big named razor. Razor- M.L.Brandt Cutlery Company, Germany & New York. "Brandt No.115". Extra Hollow Ground blade. Brush- B400 By Tom(@twhite ). WD Boar Hair Knot. 2 hairs shed. Tied for #1 of my favorite brushes. Soap- Arko/Avon Spicy scented. Aftershave- Vintage Shulton Old Spice. Mmmmm Mmmmmm Good.
