Wonderful classic shave and photo Jason. A bit different than your normal warm tones.

Thank you Jason. I got the 3" handle. I will say that I like either a neutral to head heavy razor. To me the 3" is nearly perfectly balanced between the head and handle.

I wouldn't be disappointed with 21 shaves out of the blade.

It is good to hear from you, Neal. I was concerned and considered sending Oleg over to check on you. I'm glad to hear instead that life is busy. :happy088:

Just the last 15 out of the 21?

Me either. I can get 6 or 7 out of most SE blades. On DE blades I’m 3 and out.

I wish I could just have shave number 2 on DE blades.

The more I use this CRSW, the more I really think this is an A++ soap. It’s slickness is definitely top tier, and it’s GIANT window for water tolerance, are making it a real favorite.

Jared, you've got some really nice travel gear. How do you like your Feather Artist Club folder? I have one NIB, but I don't think it would compare with my Parker SRX for overall ease of use. As a result, I haven't been too motivated to take it for a spin. I also appreciate your comments on the CRSW. I've got a brand new puck waiting in the wings, and I look forward to using it now. It looks like you've been extremely busy these past few months. I hope all is well, my friend.

    Good evening friends!

I've been getting some great shaves with the Ambassador. I have been leaving the razor set on 3, I'm going to keep it there for at least the next few shaves.

Loving my new brush! It's a stiff son of a gun. 24mm knot set at roughly 52mm.

The Stirling was slick and protective as usual.

Have a good night and a great Friday! [IMG]

Fifth day on the PTFE blade in the MMOC and it already feels a bit ragged. Definitely done. Traditional Khmer breakfast of pork and rice, $1.[IMG][IMG]

    Great minds think a like

I srugggle with fine control and pressure when using a light razor. It is a thing but I do find it much easier to use a bigger razor with a heavy grind. Time to try a 8/8. I recommend a 7/8 1/2 hollow as a perfect first razor.

    Keeping getting better my friend.

:angry019: Stop with this temptation :ban:

Thank you for the kind words, Charlie. The SS is easily the most challenging shavette I own. This is my third go around with one. I only bought it as a sort of skills test. I like the size and shape of the Feather’s in terms of grip, but don’t especially like to travel with my DX.

Well folks I just got a new razor today, a Schick repeating razor model A with crackle handle. I'm really excited to have found one in pristine shape! Plans are to try it out tomorrow and report the shave.
