The weekend is going by entirely too quickly. Back to my normal Sunday software selection and the Nuàvia Blu didn't disappoint. The Blu scent filled the room as the "Tres Amigos" added the wonderful scrub. Sticking with my modified 2 pass routine followed by touchups ended in the expected near perfect shave. I hope everyone has a great Sunday.

We have approximately 400 chicken wings left over from Danie’s grad party. They are all bagged up and frozen in gallon ziplock freezer bags, and ready to go. Threw some on the grill last night.



Wings are quite possibly my favorite food.

As far as quality, the Ikon El Jefe is a POS. (This was the original version that was sold entirely as seconds.) Sloppy base and cap fitting, the threads are so wierded up that this is the only handle I can get to screw onto it. If you don’t hold the cap down just right when you tighten the handle, the blade actually rattles around in it, it’s so loose. But I love shaving with it every now and then, because it’s really an incredible shaver. It never leaves you shy of BBS, and if I do my part, I keep two layers of skin.

I have had seven or eight shaves with the Soapy Science, and it continues to impress. I’m told there are several new scents in the works:

College Fund
Orthodontist
Convertible
Wedding Dress

Haircut & Shave

Gave myself a much needed cut and style, if you consider a buzzcut a style. In the spirit of getting a haircut, why not go Barbershop all the way? Wonderful, relaxing shave. Generous splash of AS…good to go. Nothing pressing today, so I think I’ll head downstairs and spend some time at the torch, making glass beads with the bride.
