Injector & SE Party !!!

Here are my Friday and Saturday night shaves. Friday night is a Type E that opens for cleaning, used a fresh Proline & this razor is a beast!!

Saturday Night I busted out my prize possession the legendary PAUL REVERRE! this was a virgin razor with dummy blade when I got it - it was not still in the package so there are a few scratches - so near mint. if u like long handles than this is the ultimate injector - Oh yes - and I really treated my self and loaded a FRESH tungsten steal blade!!!! I am so lucky to own around 50 of these injector blades and 14 DE blades - I dread the day I cant use them anymore - but with the longevity - that could be decades and My guess is my son may be using them when I am pushing up daisy's...

I just won a Schick Hydromagic off Ebay. It has a gold razor head and a black plastic handle. Just needs a good cleaning and it will be as good as new. Should arrive on the same day as my Schick E model Injector which will be this next Friday.

Hello Boru, It's an I-2, I have an E-2 coming that has an Ivory colored handle and the lift up top for easy cleaning. I didn't do too bad razor hunting this weekend, and I didn't break the bank either. I'm really looking forward to using them.

Are G- model Injectors good head shaver's?, normally I use my Gillette Sensor. I thought I'ed try my Injector this time. I just don't want alot of nicks.

Tonight I used my wife’s Gem G bar razor, to get BBS. I haven’t used a safety razor in a long time, as I use straight razors. I pretty much used only old Gem razors and lather catchers, for years to save with. I never owned a G bar before, and she picked this one up for herself a few weeks ago. When I used SE razors the Gem Micromatic open comb was my favorite, and quickly became my wife’s as well. She has been telling me that she likes the G bar better. So, I had to try it for myself.
Pretty good razor.
Please don’t tell the guys over in the straight razor section, I used a safety razor tonight

I've been on a Williams and MMOC kick all month. Used nothing but, thus far, and loving it.

Glad to see another join the ranks of those gifted enough to use and appreciate such a fine soap.

 

Two weeks now with the MMOC, razorlove in its purest form.

Until I acquired a Type F the Inject0-Matic was probably my favourite short handled Injector [ confined to use of a single blade]. It is still a great Razor, whose use is enhanced by use of the Schick Proline AC type blade as opposed to a standard Injector blade. It does not lose any of its efficiency but the shave is a lot smoother.Had another good quality trouble free Shave today, and think a couple more uses of the blade are a possibility. I do notice that I have a tendency to reach for the Vitos when using this Razor, just seems to work well together.

Good morning friends. Excellent three pass shave today with the Schick E2. Marvelous lather from the Proraso shave cream. I finished with Old Spice... smooth and refreshed. Enjoy your day friends. ☺️
