  2. It’s good to see you took in all that Colorado has to offer.

  3. That is a fantastic looking brush handle. The wood is really cool. It looks like it could be 100 years old.
  4. Great minds think alike.
  5. Another great one. The wood tones in the leaves are always a win.
  6. Happy Birthday, Andrew.
  7. Thank you Jared. I run out of places around the back lawn to take photos. :D
  8. Thanks for the well wishes, guys. Although having the flu on vacation admittedly sucks, the beach is still a soothing place to be. Laid around on the beach this morning before taking my three hour nap. The highlight of the evening was that I felt well enough to shave. 100 strops on the newly touched up Dovo, and B&M 42 and a Stirling Lil’ Brudder paved the way to victory. No nicks, cuts or weepers, and a DFS ensued. I’ve still got to master the neck and work on the technique so I get a bit less sting out of the AS, but it seems like I’m turning a corner with the SR. Still “miles to go before I sleep”, but I’ll take the improvement, nonetheless.

    Razor: Rex Ambassador (4)
    Blade: Polsilver SI (2)
    Brush: Rick Montalvo mixed
    Pre shave: Stirling mentholated
    Soap: Stirling MITA
    Lucky Tiger face tonic
    AS: Stirling MITA

    Good evening gentlemen!

Menthol Monday! Shave 10 with the Rex and it was a good one! BBS and quiet alum.

Nice menthol kick from the MITA soap and aftershave. This may be another candidate for a full size tub.

Still working the smell out of my new brush one shave at a time.

Have a great night men! [IMG]

  13. In case I've been conspicuous in my absence....

It was worse than I let on, then I got bronchitis because I couldn't breathe deeply...developed a bad attitude and probably drive myself a bit nuts. My inbox is overloaded. Apologies.

Now, 17 days later... I am alive again.

    The shaves....

All Barbasol. All shavette. All FW. All drug store goodness.

Life is good. 100f on the prairie tomorrow. Other than that, all is good in Colorado.

    Have a terrific Tuesday!
    ;)
