Early morning shave today. Newly acquired, restored, and honed, German Razor. I had a Smooooth 2 pass shave, that left me BDBS. It was even silky smooth ATG. It's a keeper. Razor- Lessmann Bros. Germany. Angelian Steel(Never heard of it). Brush- B400 By Tom(@twhite ). Soap- Arkovon Spicy Aftershave- Vintage Shulton Old Spice. Ships Lantern Decanter. Mmmmmm Mmmmmm Good.
Wednesday Prep: Warm Shower-Stirling Island Man Soap Soap: Crowne & Crane Thuringian Forest Razor: Maggard V2 Open Comb Blade: Gillette Silver Blue (4) Brush: Elite Razor/TGN Grade A Silvertip-24mmx50mm Aftershave: Country Club Southern Oud WTG-XTG-ATG (adjusted angles for my beard) Crowne & Crane Thuringian Forest today. 20 seconds to load the Elite Razor/TGN Grade A Silvertip brush. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Gillette Silver Blue still in the Maggard V2 Open Comb. Excellent smooth, close, shave. I finished with Country Club Southern Oud aftershave. Bob
Therapeutic I was not feeling well this morning, but this shave made me feel a bit better. I could not fully appreciate the scent due to an allergy flare up, but what I could smell was comforting and pleasant. Does anyone else shave to feel better? Gem Damaskeene razor Gem Blue Star blade VDH/TGN Silver Tip brush VeraSoapCo Peppermint SS Osage Rub/Witch Hazel w/aloe Pinaud Clubman A/S Lllloooonnnngggg time since I used the Damaskeene. Very smooth, comfortable and extremely mild shave. Had to make a 3td pass (usually do 2) to get the results I like. Probably me not getting the angle just right so will try again tomorrow. The VDH/TGN brush is a lather hog and now I remember why I don't use it often but it is soft and feels good on the face. Anyway, all is well. Now go enjoy your day folks.
