The head mechanism on the aluminum Atra is held in mainly by a crimp at the very top of the handle. Over decades of use, that thin crimp can loosen up as mine did. It was still usable but annoying, so it had to come out. Once I got it free I could have epoxied the head back into the handle and been done with it, but I have another handle that I want the Atra head mated to. Will post that one later. This is a no-name DE neck epoxied into the Atra handle, with the Canada Tech head. Have not tried it out yet but am pleased with the combination of the Atra's good grip and head-heavy balance.
