Thur 5th July RazoRock Syn. 22mm Cyril Salter Solid Soap Alu. General + S/S Handle Schick Proline [ 1 ] Pitralon Polar A/S Lotion Though I prefer heavier Razors I liked todays Shave with the General. I have put in a fresh blade and it worked a treat, and as I managed not to use pressure during the Shave , not only was it smooth but it was ultra close all round without any problems. Obviously last time out I had been using a blade past its best so got poor results.

Thursday's Shave Proraso Pre Shave PSC Caffeinated Shave Cream Jayaruh #284 Synthetic English Ever-Ready SE Razor GEM CS SE CWR Thayers Peach WH PSC Caffeinated AS I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The PSC Caffeinated Shave Cream face-lathered well with the Semogue SOC brush. I did two passes with the English Ever-Ready SE Razor with a GEM CS SE blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Peach WH and then PSC Caffeinated AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
Very nice! The L's are great shavers. The Auto Strop A2 was wonderful. I can say that if you see one you should hook it up!!
In planning for Friday's Adjustable shave, I am pulling out a vintage blade to use in my Schick M2 Adjustable. I have not been able to remember when or where I got these blades. They have been sitting with my vintage blades for some time evidently. @Linuxguile is responsible for me doing this. He put the idea in my noggin. I'll be using this very vintage blade for Adjustable Friday's shave. The blades are marked MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN on one side and PRECISION ER PRODUCTS on the other side. I have not been able to find anything about the manufacturer. It appears to be a full magazine. The blades are very clean, appear to be coated with a brown coating, and loaded very smoothly. I am looking forward to seeing how they shave. MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN PRECISION ER PRODUCTS
Pre: Cold water face wash Brush: Semogue SOC Cherry Boar Cream: Simpsons Peppermint and Rosemary Razor: Ever-Ready Streamline/Jewel Blade: Gem Blue Star CS Post: Cold water rinse, Proraso Green ASL As usual the Streamline has left my skin, face strokingly smooth. Happy Shaving one and all.
Nothing ventured, nothing gained. I did another search, and I see where @ob1page tried them and they did not work for him either. My expectations, though once moderate, are now low.

I could not remember where I got these blades, and it bugged me. I looked all through my blog site, but I could not find out where they came from. Googling "Precision ER Products" did not help either. Then I was going through my stash, and I found the box it came in. I actually got it with a Pal Injecto-matic that I got from Italy. It turns out it is a Pal Injector blade made by Ever-Ready Razor Products, Ltd., London. That explains the ER on the magazine.
Fri 6th July Stirling Syn.26mm Stirling Baker Street Schick J3 Schick S/S single-Japan [ 1 ] Tuff Green A/S Lotion Today rather than pushing the blade in the J3 decided a fresh one was needed. I chose to use a Japanese Schick in the J3 for the first time, as I only have a few which need to be rationed out carefully. I think there was a possible increase of blade feel, but the Combo shaved very smoothly and efficiently.Overall I was quite pleased with the quality of finish, but I am not quite sure that this Schick beats a Proline when used in the J3 .

Adjustable Friday's Shave Proraso Pre Shave PSC Caffeinated Shave Cream Jayaruh #284 Synthetic Schick M2 Adjustable Precision ER Products Injector CWR Thayers Peach WH PSC Caffeinated AS I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The PSC Caffeinated Shave Cream face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #284 Synthetic brush. I did two passes with the Schick M2 Adjustable Razor with a Precision ER Products Injector blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Peach WH and then PSC Caffeinated AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed... I finally discovered that the blade is a Pal injector blade made in Britain by Ever-Ready Razor Products in the 1950s. My expectations were low based on others experience, but I was not disappointed. It was a fine shave indeed. In fact, I could have quit after one pass, but I did two and ended up with a very close and comfortable shave.
Pre: Cold water face wash Brush: EJ Medium BB Cream: T&H West Indian Limes (sample) Razor: Gem MMFW Blade: Gem Stainless ptfe Post: Cold water rinse, West Indian Limes ASB (sample) I fancied a nice zingy lime to cap off this very sunny week and remembered I have a couple of samples. The cream is quite a dark lime scent and there's an ointment like background to it, not unpleasant but also not something I'd go and buy. The performance on the other hand is pretty good. I do like the balm though and might be checking it out in the near future. Happy Shaving one and all.
