Thank you guys. I slept like crap last night dreaming about work today. I should have put down the razor or used something else. I learned my lesson and will not make the same mistake again.

 

Sunday nights during the school year are often fitful. I sleep in on Saturday and Sunday, compared to a normal day, and so I'm not ready to go to bed on Sunday nights when I need to. Been a problem for years and years. I understand.

Wow, you guys were busy last night. I will have to catch up later.

That is the toughest pass so save it for after you have mastered all the other passes.

I found that beard reduction was the best way to tackle my toughest areas of stubble. I do 4 passes, WTG, XTG, XTG opposite direction and then finally ATG. Doing this I reduced my irritation and was able to achieve a closer shave too.

I will attempt to describe how I shave ear to Adams' apple: To shave the right side I use my right hand and an inverted grip, my wrist is above the razor. I reach over my head with my left hand and use the left hand to pull my skin tight, and then I tilt my head so I have a flat surface to shave. To do the left I switch hands. I figured out the grip and built muscle memory by using an empty CJB shavette. Trying to figure it out with a blade will lead to some blood. If you don't have a shavette try a butter knife.

Great two pass shave with touch up. DFS.

New brush today. Andrew was right, ten days from China. Off to a good start, two shampoos and a face lather with no hairs lost. Plenty of backbone for me. Bigger than what I'm used to using. As of now I think it's $25.00 well spent.

I decided to do a two pass shave last night in preparation for the early morning bus ride back to Phnom Penh. Big difference this morning compared to my one pass ATG in terms of 10 hour stubble. I guess I shouldn't be surprised. Love this town Kampot, back August 1 if all goes well.

 

I think it's PAA, The scent is Strange Island. I believe it was a limited edition that is out of production now.
