This is the regular version of MITA which has a good middle of the road menthol effect unlike the overwhelming freeze you'd get from the Glacial version. Same lovely tropical/citrusy scent, rich, slick lather, and great skincare. I'm soon going to need some more Lucky Tiger balm because this jar is running low - do you ever love its moisturizing, and the menthol cooling from it. The Aqua Velva is one hundred percent old school - just the way I love it. It's been a long time since I last used a Derby blade but I got a damned good BBS shave!

Do you find that the Meeter soap hides the Aqua Velva scent in any way, or does the AV still come out as normal?

1 pass BBS lower neck shave. Turns out to be not as hot or humid here in Fla as it was in NC, so the full beard is coming back for awhile.

•Skin Bracer. Y'know, the classic is great but it's about time they brought back a lime version or something.

was that ship custom made or something offered by old spice many years ago? That Long Lasting Cologne is quite a FIND - I have NEVER seen that - lock your doors it may go missing...

Chiseled Face Ghost Town Barber today. 20 seconds to load the Thater Sivertip brush. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Gillette “Spoiler” Super Stainless still in the Gillette Fat Handle Tech. Excellent smooth, close, shave. I finished with Chiseled Face Ghost Town Barber aftershave.

Custom made by Desire Metal Works. I had a vision and had to make it a reality. The bottle of long lasting cologne was never originally 'for sale' to the general public. It's a bottle given to retail stores to put on the counter for the public to smell in the 1980's. I happened across an ebay sale of these that had a very limited quantity. The seller found them (probably a case or two) at a garage sale. I ordered a single bottle first to find out how good a condition the juice was in. I was floored at how well preserved the scent quality was and quickly ordered an additional 5 bottles, then tipped off a select number of Old Spice lovers to the ebay sale. I doubt anyone will see a sale like that again. By my initial count it seemed like he couldn't have been selling anymore than 20-25 bottles in total. If people didn't jump on them right then and there, I doubt they will ever be available again, unless re-sold from this small batch's buyers. The shave brush in this set is also custom made, but I don't know who turned it. Nathan of EnvyShave, who put his knot in the handle, wouldn't divulge that information. The maker of the brush is a mystery. It is one of a kind and will never be made again. It looks like a genuine product, but it is a 3rd party fabrication. I'm thinking of buying and adding a vintage telescope aftershave decanter as a rotating item in the boat.

Unlike nearly all of my other shaving sets, my complete Shulton shaving set is likely not something that can be copied/duped. Just getting it made came at considerable expense and patience and product searching for many months and begging certain vendors to create these custom pieces, then paying very high prices for them. It's one of a kind. If someone were so inclined, it's more likely they could duplicate my Silver Shave Kit, but the Shulton Ship one, I'm afraid it's nearly impossible to duplicate due to the rarity of its items. I got lucky to be able to even put it together.
