Oh man is that cool! My BL here has none of them, only one Dollar Tree. How you like the scent?

Pleasant & acceptable! I'm going back for the other jug. Might check my Dollar Tree stores, too.

Last night I got to playing around with the dud Gruen Precision that came with the band I bought yesterday for my Hamilton. It was wound tight and wouldn't budge so I figured it was busted for good.

Was about to pitch it when accidentally banged it (lightly) on the table and the sweep hand started up. I took the back off, blew it out as best I could, tapped it a few more times, then pulled the crown to let the tension out of the spring overnight. Sure enough, this morning it had wound down, allowing me to set and wind it up again. I boiled the crud out of the band and polished the watch as best I could; needs a professional cleaning inside but it's been running like a champ all day. I'm guessing the Gruen Precision is from the 1960s, not sure. The watch and band are SO comfortable, and the band looks better on it than on the Hamilton, I'll leave it as I found it.

And the cheapie strap that will do for awhile on my Scotty, also running like a champ.

I get the feeling I've tapped out my good finds here in Tampa in my first week. Ah well.

First use of Craigslist and I feel it was a good one. Razor, stone and box from the person’s great grandfather. The razor has been through its useful life, but the stone and box was the real find for me. After cleaning and flattening:

A naturally formed combo Coticule - where the yellow and blue are quarried at their transition. I think that makes for a very cool variant of a Coticule.

Received this assortment of goodies from @Jrdelgado today. Going by @mr-razor's site, it appears that the case on the left is for an early 1940's era Milord Tech, which I'll use for my Milord until I get it's correct case. The case on the right resembles one for a 1930 Oxford (Ball Handle New LC) which I need the handle and blade case for. Three brushes, Strong Set, one without logo and a Rubberset B-30. And three razors, Fat Handle New SC, Fat Handle New LC and a Gold Tech. The brushes will keep me busy for a while to restore.

That is one cool shave mobile! Just roll it in the bathroom for a portable den.

62198752-5804-478A-B9F6-E03819B06442.jpeg Hello went on a once in a lifetime vacation to Alaska, picked up a Big Fellow Razor in the case. The case was in really bad shape. But thanks to @jimjo1031 it is in great shape now. I cleaned the razor and man does it shave well! All I need is the blade holder.

I won't be using this razor yet until I've moved into my unit first because all my wet shaving gear is put away into a military footlocker ready to be used very soon.
