Ok it's time to post my Friday morning SOTD! The tools used: C. W. Beggs Facial Wash Razorock Plissoft 26mm Monster Super Speed/Derby day 6 Reitzer SS Fino ASB Aramis EdT Out of love for this wonderful South African soap and balm I decided to skip the menthol despite the 32c heat we'll be getting today and I still had an awesome BBS shave. The Reitzer's scent is so nice, it's a pleasure to lather up, and its skincare is excellent. I think the world of the Fino balm. To my dear friend DaveP, thanks so much for making this shave possible!
Tom's No Name SE Razor Gem Blue Star blade/Gem Stainless blade WD Silver Tip brush VeraSoapCo Peppermint SS Osage Rub/Witch Hazel w/aloe Jason's Aloe Vera balm St James of London Mandarin/Patchouli cologne This was an interesting 1st flight with the TNNSER razor. I loaded the Blue Star blade but did have some trouble doing so but didn't this much about it except I was being clumsy (not uncommon any more). Well, I buggered up that blade and it really hurt when I tried to use it. Blood all over the place. Immediately stopped (not stupid) and treated the wounds. Still needed to shave so grabbed a Gem Stainless and loaded it into the razor. Relathered and tried again. Success! Smooth, easy shave that went well and I look great except for the bloody spots. However, since the first blade hurt a lot I think I will not shave until Monday. Now go enjoy your day folks. BTW, the VeraSoapCo SS is most excellent. Locally made, I would match it against anything I've used to date and it would win or at least tie. Great stuff.

Pre: Cold water face wash Brush: Omega 11137 Boar Soap: OSP Bay Rum Razor: Cobra Classic Blade: Schick Proline P Post: Cold water rinse, Boots Bay Rum First use of an OSP soap and it's right up my street. Everything you need in a soap and then some. The scent profile is also excellent, heavy on the bay, with the rum coming through in the background. I'm now looking for a suitable splash to go with it. Happy Shaving one and all.
Damp Cellar horse hair brush, Stirling Iced Pineapple soap, WCS Mariner razor, loaded up with a Rockwell Swedish steel blade, PAA Big Shave East aftershave. Two aggressive passes, resulting in a superb shave. The best, in fact, in July so far. The Iced Pineapple didn't produce the volume of lather I'm used to, but boy oh boy was it slick! Great stuff.
I agree with you 1000% on the shave jelly - it really is amazing and DIFFERENT - soothing is what i feel! no grease. I used Antiperspirants my whole life and hated deodorants - i am almost always using paa deodorants now, my Fav is Cold spice - but the deodorant actually does stop sweating - not that i sweat a lot now that i am trapped in a cubicle all day tapping keys.... as far as the shampoo pucks - the scent is off the charts and it builds a ton of lather - i use the puck for body and head.... I dont have a thick head of hair like you so i cant tell you what it does for hair as my hair sucks but the smell is friggin great
