  1. Thank you, Jared!

Stay at home moms definitely have a tough job. I don't know how they do it, and the kids definitely notice. They start asking when is mom going to be home about 10 minutes after they woke the first morning she left. It hasn't stopped since.

Granny and Gramps coming a bit later will help them out a bit, but they'll be very glad to see mom in a few days.

    Bully!!!

Those CVS blades are great. Very solid CS blades. Love that set up. That Damaskeene rocks!

  8. Thanks Fuzzy! And, thanks for the confirmation on the razor as well. Any idea approximately what years they were made?
I wasn't sure how the blades would be. Turns out, they're way smoother and sharper than I would've guessed.

  13. 1919ish. I actually down loaded the Waits book the other day. I will look that up when I get home from work.

  14. It’s awesome to see you having fun at this. It really is a hard thing at first. And it’s really a rush in the beginning, to do that N to S pass on your neck; it’s going fine, but you always have that weird picture in your head of a slip that leaves you on the floor, gulping like a fish.

And then two months later, it’s just a thing you do. Easy. And then, you are a Jedi Master. There really is no challenge to shaving anymore.

Except getting a stable lather out of New Williams, but that’s more an alchemy thing than a mad ninja skill.

  15. Fantastic Old School!

I’ve never actually hunted in the wild. Someday.
  16. Thanks again Fuzzy! It's kinda neat shaving with something about a century old.
  17. Your reaction mirrors mine. As I was told, it is a dress with matching heels in school colors that the well dressed young lady wears to SEC football games. :D
  18. Thank you Jim.

  19. Great shave, photo and report Bruce. Congrats on scoring razors in the Wild. The Damaskeene is my favorite vintage Gem razor out of the ones, I have tried.

  20. Boris and Ivan take great offense at that. Well, they would if I could get them conscious. I'll get back to you. I like the idea of berets. Easier to identify the dissidents when they wear the same uniform.
