  1. Thanks it was pretty scuzzed up when I got it. They clean up nicely though. It has a crack in the metal if look carefully on the front side right but it doesn't seem to affect it's usability. Someone tried to flatten it out with vice grips I think since there is also teeth marks on the opposite side.

    Tabac Tuesday's Shave

    Keep It Simple Shave Week

    Tabac Shave Soap
    Jayaruh #303
    AutoStrop B2
    Treet CS SE
    CWR
    Tabac AS

My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Tabac Shave Soap face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #303 synthetic brush. I did two passes with the AutoStrop B2 Razor with a Treet CS SE blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Tabac AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

    Williams Aqua Velva A/S lotion

As very busy trying to sort out Flights for a holiday, opted for a sure -fire Shave.Chose the elegant Schick N3 teamed up with a modern Twin Blade. This used in conjunction with the Cyril Salter soap meant that a great Shave was assured, and to top it off used some of my depleted Aqua. Maybe time to order more, along with soaps that have nearly gone.

  10. Beautiful shave gear folks. Let me add to it with my plain Jane picture.

Put a little bit of Tabac into my Tuesday.....

    The New Schick Razor (B1)
    Personna blade
    TOST LE brush
    Tabac Shave Stick
    WH
    Clubman Musk

    Another outstanding shave.

    Vitos Super Red
    Schick Type G
    Schick Proline [ 2 ]
    Tuff Green A/S Lotion

Had a shave with a little used Type G. Confirmed to me that I find it rather a harsh Shaver compared to some of my favourites [ PAL Injecto Matic and Type I ], aided by the Vitos I did a good job around the upper areas but sadly did not work for me around the neck. I suspect that I will not be reaching for it in a hurry.

CVS CS (009 RD) SE blade (2)
Yaqi Ruby Red (24mm, Frigate class)
    Stirling Glacial Black Cherry
    Stirling Glacial Lemon Chill PSB

The Superior LC was a lot lighter then I thought it would be, I loaded it up with a once used CS blade and was off to the races. WOW this razor is really loud! I was also able to maintain a nice shallow blade angle by riding the tab. Three passes, no need for touch up, BBS with no irritation. This was one of the best SE shaves I've ever had!

    Speick Active soap
    Schick B1
    Schick Proline B1
    Pitralon Original A/S Lotion

A shave with one of the early Schicks is an occasional treat for me. One has to be aware that unlike later models the likes of the B/C Types require greater concentration and a light touch to avoid mishap. It is really satisfying to Shave with the BI and get a fault free Shave with a really good close all round finish. In fact for me this was a much better Shave than the one of yesterday with a G Type.
