Good morning friends. A fine three pass shave today with the Schick N1 loaded with a twin blade. Excellent lather from the Arko Extra Performance shave cream. I finished with Old Spice, smooth and refreshed. Enjoy your day friends. ☺

    Thursday's Shave
    zcws.gif
    Keep It Simple Shave Week

    Williams Mug Shave Soap
    Jayaruh #303
    AutoStrop B2
    Treet CS SE
    CWR
    Clubman Pinaud

My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Williams Mug Shave Soap face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #303 synthetic brush. I did two passes with the AutoStrop B2 Razor with a Treet CS SE blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Clubman Pinaud AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

  6. Hi guys!

Tell me what you think of this setup:

    Neutrogena Men Facial Wash
    Razorock Plissoft 26mm Monster
    Super Speed/Derby day 5
    Stirling Glacial Black Cherry SS
    Gold Bond Moisturizer
    Osage Rub AS Splash
    Drakkar Noir EdT

A shave from Paradise - so BBS and FRIGID from this Glacial Black Cherry soap. The Rubby Dubby Doo felt so cold and invigorating as well!

  9. I'm glad to see you used Drakkar Noir. I don't know why, but DN appears to be getting a rap of "ahhhh, no one uses that anymore....we're on to Creed!". I certainly have nothing against Creed products, but....if no one uses DN anymore, why is it still around, eh? No one uses Original Rise Shaving Cream anymore, and we all know why...it isn't around anymore :-(((.
  10. July 18th - Wednesday Night Shave..
Brush = "Skully El Capitan" by Brent Jacobson
Razor - GEM Damaskeene with a custom handle made by ROD GEORGE
OGALLALA BAY RUM & SANDLEWOOD !!! splash and soap puck, Ogallala has many great bay rum scents - I have bay & vanilla, and Bay & sage - but there bay rum and sandlewood is there BEST!!! and also the strongest scent - my bathroom was filled with the wonderful scent last night.
The Damaskeene with a Fresh PAL SUPER Blade just NEVER dissapoints - total perfection!

  13. Sorry, Paul but you got me on that one, I`m completely in the dark. As for pivoting heads, I would much rather use my F2 Fat Boy, or my Gillette SS flare , or my Gillette 40s era Gillette tech, or several other `Real Razors`, but I`m being reduced to something I can handle with my disability. Please clarify ...." pivoting heads COMPLETE me".

First of all, this is a beautiful razor, don't judge her by my poor snapshot.
After looking at her admiringly, I was surprised at how light it was when I eventually picked her up. I know, I know, aluminium is light but she looks so substantial it still caught me unawares.
The shave was very good, two and a half passes to get a dfs and not a peep from the alum block, a very good first impression indeed.
    Happy Shaving one and all.

Right nice shave but lots different than with the TNNSER. My face is happy. Now go enjoy your day folks
