Thank you for the tips gentlemen. I am starting to use both hands as I can see that certain parts of the shave will be easier using my left hand. Sent from my Galaxy using Tapatalk
Terrific, Adam! Looking forward to giving it a try. @Jayaruh is quite the craftsman. He and @twhite both amaze me with their talents.
I have to admit, I wasn't sure what to think when I saw something about getting a woody in the mail. But, that is an excellent looking picture and a fun looking razor.
Thank you Clint. I will not be replacing the used up Floïd, but rather switch to Floïd Blue for the rest of the focus.
July 24th Razor: Timeless .95 SC Blade: Rapira Super Stainless(1) Brush: SOC mixed Pre shave: Stirling mentholated Soap: Soap Commander Fortitude Lucky Tiger face tonic AS: JoHS Tobacco Bay Tobacco Tuesday! A renewed focus focus. I received my Timeless .95 SC in April. I've used it a total of thirteen times. I'm going for thirty consecutive shaves. Shave one: A few short months ago this shave would have been described as wonderful. My standards are higher now. I ended up with a couple of small weepers and slight redness on the right side of my neck when doing the ear to adams apple touch up. My fault. I didn't do a good job with my skin stretching. Other than that it was a very nice shave. The talk of shaving with both hands has me thinking about trying it. Seems it would be easier to pull my skin back on the right side of my neck with my right hand and shave forward towards my adams apple with my left. I'll give it a try tomorrow and report back. Have a great night! Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk

I had that happen with the R41 a number of times. It's like stepping on the moving walkway at the airport, you need to adjust beforehand. You'll be a master of the straight in no time Andrew.
It's been a bad week so far here: My mother would be 88 in a couple of weeks. On Saturday afternoon, the Home Care lady found her lying on the floor by her bed, and since she seemed weak and dazed, we called an ambulance to take her to the hospital. After some initial improvement, her condition plummeted right off the cliff yesterday. This morning, we had her moved to comfort or palliative level of care only. And we are now doing the only thing we can for her -- praying that her death will be peaceful and easy.
Excellent shot Jim! Curious to see how your two handed venture turns out! Sent from my Galaxy using Tapatalk
Thanks, Andrew! My left hand isn't very useful except for getting in the way when I'm swinging a hammer. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
