SHAVE OF THE DAY Prep: shower with C&E Vetiver bath soap, pre shave soap mix Razor: Wilkinson Sword Classic Blade: Gillette 7oclock Brush: Yaqi 26mm synthetic Soap: Wholly Kaw King Of Oud Post: B&M Fougere Clasique A/S Excellent BBS shave this morning. The lather from WK has exceeded all expectations, despite the fact that I started with a bit too much water in the brush. Scent of KoO is unique and not what you may expect from a Oud scent, it's sweet and a bit floral but smells great. Finished off with B&M Fougere Clasique which smells a bit like vintage european bath soap, or grandma's bathroom. Hope everyone is doing well and getting great shaves!

July 2018 July 24 - Shaving like the Fuzzter! Razor - Gem Junior LC Blade - (3) Soap - Island Hopper Brush - Omega Pro 48 Post - Alum Third shave on the Gem Jr and Treet Carbon. Back to Island Hopper out of the Marvy mug and I went for a classic brush in my collection, the Omega Pro 48. This was my first "official" brush and I had forgotten how huge this thing is. I think I could lather my entire head with one swirl with this brush. It felt good. Soft yet with that slight boar scritchiness that I like in a brush. If it was as scritchy as a horse it would be perfect. The blade is holding up well and gave a great shave for its third run. SE blades, of course, tend to last a bit longer and this one is doing just fine. Two passes again, touch ups again as usual, and a near-BBS result which is fine. Three very enjoyable shaves on the Gem before it gets packed up to wait on the Kampfe to join it on its way back south. Tomorrow - the Kampfe starts its final three day run at HQ.

Williams Wednesday's Shave Keep It Simple Shave Week Williams Mug Shave Soap Jayaruh #302 Alumigoose Feather SS SE CWR Family Dollar Spice AS My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Williams Mug Shave Soap face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #302 synthetic brush. I did two passes with the Alumigoose Razor on loan from @Redfisher with a Feather SS Professional blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Family Dollar Spice AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed... Mike told me that you almost do not need a second pass with this razor. He was right. I was tempted to not do the second pass, but hey, I like shaving now, so I have an effortless BBS.

Wed. 7/25/18 Good morning friends. Excellent three pass shave today with the Gillette Slim fitted with a GSB. Marvelous lather from the Italian Barber Milionario shave soap. I finished with Old Spice, smooth and refreshed. Enjoy your day friends. ☺
