Any chance you're joining us for Cinco de Julio?

  1. Of course. In fact, I save my popsicle sticks for just this occasion!

  4. Chris, that razor looks like it took some cues from the Micromatic. I like it! :happy088:

  10. Very nice, Brian!
  11. Andrew, I was thinking that going in, but it was drama free and the results hadn't a hint of mayhem. It ended up being a really smooth shave. Not giving up my soaps or anything, but it worked.

  13. It's just the angle. The only similarity is that both can be fairly aggressive and both can give a great shave if used correctly.

A very early morning shave with an afterwork post. An automatic drama 2 pass shave this morning. I think there is enough of the Italian Citrus soap to make it through tomorrow morning. I hope everyone has had a great Wednesday and has great evening.
  18. Beautiful picture, Clint.

  20. Thank you, gentlemen, for all your kind thoughts and prayers. They are much appreciated.

My mother has been receiving excellent care from the staff at our local hospital, who are doing everything they can to keep her comfortable. She is sleeping heavily all the time now, unaware of anyone around her, but now appears to be doing so with no pain or discomfort. Actually, we are all rather surprised that she is still alive, but she seems to have hit a plateau, at least temporarily, where her condition is not improving at all but no longer seems to be getting worse.

I didn't bother shaving today. However, I spent some time today catching up on the posts here and enjoying all the shave reports and "shave porn" as well as all the other commentaries on vacations, families and everything under the sun. It was a great break and a wonderful relaxation. Even when I don’t always comment on posts and photos individually, I do enjoy reading them and appreciate the time and effort all of you put into them.
