Keep trying and in 2 weeks it will natural. I couldn’t imagine shaving with a straight and not using both hands.
Beautiful photo, Clint! It appears that the Karve is starting to darken a little bit with use. IIRC, you're going to let it patina naturally? Any word on the other plates yet?
Great photo and report, Neal! Enjoy your days off, even though it still sounds busy..and good luck with the Dr. appt.
Thanks Fuzzy! I don't know what the rules are regarding links to another forum....but, I stumbled across a great post on TSN about various Gem razors. He showed close-up photos of the blades in relationship to the guards. The blade sits a little closer to the edge of the guard than on the Damaskeene, so it makes perfect sense that there's a little more blade feel with the Jr. - and that was his impression as well. Should you want to read the post, I'd be happy to share the link with you via PM, or on here if it's allowed...

Thank you, Bruce! The Yaqi is a nice brush. It lost its first hair with last night's shave. Not much backbone but it whips up a nice lather. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
Thank you. It is staring to patina nicely and I do plan to just let it occur naturally. I am drying the razor after each use to prevent water spots. The E & F plates shipped and should be her mid to late next week. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
