No fancy pictures for this one but my first shave with a Schick Krona, via a nice Nova Scotian and E-Bay. Omega Professional Barber Boar Brush Wilkinson Sword Shaving Soap (not my fav , but using it up) Shark Super Stainless blade. Proraso White Pre-shave Cream Thayers Unscented Alcohol Free Witch Hazel Nivea After Shave Balm I wasn't expecting much in spite of the reviews of the Krona because it has a bit of a cheap feel with the plastic handle. But wow, this puppy gave me a really close, not quite BBS, three pass shave on the first try. A better result than I have been getting with most of my other razors. I am very impressed with the efficiency of this razor. Schick definitely put the money where it matter on this razor. I may have to squirrel away a few more of these as doesn't feel like it is built for a lifetime of shaves but it may surprise me.

Gillette Mono Tech/Aristocrat (C3 Brazil) Razor Polsilver Super Iridium Blade Vintage Fuller Boar Brush Vintage Klar Shave Soap Dickinson's Witch Hazel Old Spice After Shave I recently acquired this razor from @MR41 and I just like the older Super Speed handle shape combined with the Flair Tip style of knurling. It has a real good feel in the hand and the knurling is pretty sharp, hard to slip. For the date code, the 3 is very visible, while the letter is very hard to see. It does seem to show the bottom part of a C, but very faintly, so that's what I'm calling it. And I think from what I've researched, 1957 is when the knurling changed from a Super Speed type in the Brazilian Mono Techs to the Flair Tip types. These were in cased sets marked Aristocrat, hence both names. The Fuller brush is what I was originally going to put a new knot in, but decided to try it out. And since it worked out nice, it's staying the way it is. Two passes with a little touch up for a very smooth and comfortable BBS shave.
