According to the Fine Accoutrement Web Site, the Lavender Pour Homme is an homage to Czech & Speake Oxford & Cambridge; that it to say in laymen's terms, lavender. However, as someone who has been regularly using the C&S and now the Fine, I can say, with some not small knowledge, that the Fine does smell like lavender, including their lavender soap, it does not smell like the C&S O&C. The Fine is a full lavender with something in the bass notes to make it a "headier", "woodier" lavender scent. IMO, Fine Lavender pour Homme is one of the best lavender aftershaves on the market. And regarding their recent price increase; I think that $20 is a fair price for the quality you will receive. Worth betting $20, IMO.

July 2018 July 27 - Shaving like the Fuzzter! Razor - Kampfe Star LC Blade - (2) Soap - Stirling Executive Man Brush - 30DC LE Post - Alum After a fun day of doing a whole lot of nothing besides cooking a slab of ribs over an open fire, then eating said ribs, I found the energy to shave. The Kampfe Star is still up as is the Treet Super Carbon blade. I had taken a shower after arriving back home from the park to get the smell of smoke off of me and used Executive Man bath soap from Stirling. So, I chose the matching shave soap, the 30DC LE brush, and whipped up a fantastic face lather. The Star went to work with ease on two days growth. It was very noisy, as it likes to be anyway, and very smooth considering what it was doing. I finished two passes with no problems and decided to do a third just to make sure it was all done. That, and I wasn't done playing with the razor for the day. The third pass was also a perfect pass and the baby is home for the night. This razor is just a cool tool to use. I know there are some out there. Now to find one that won't break the bank to call my own. One more day with it so there's another great shave to come I'm sure. The weekend has officially begun for most of the world! It's ending for me, of course, as tomorrow is my version of Monday. Hope you all have a great Saturday! Hey - try some ribs! I highly recommend them!
Thanks Tim. When I saw the shift knob, I just knew I had to turn it into a brush. Just seemed right .

Another outstanding photo Matt. I just want to want to know if the soap and aftershave really work! It could get a guy in trouble... Steve
