Another excellent photo, Jim! Mmmmmm! Vision is such a nice scent. And you're right about the post shave feel. It's among the best I've experienced with any soap or cream. I may have to pull that one out today or tomorrow.
I have only used the Cape Cod cloth on it once or twice. That would all depend on how often you use the razor. Cape Cod cloths are pretty mild. In my experience they clean the tarnish off rather than actually polishing the metal. I have used them to clean bronze, brass, copper and silver. If you want to polish and or remove light surface scratches I would recommend Flitz. Thank you! Sent from my SM-T800 using Tapatalk

I've thought about Flitz, but it would probably remove the matte finish. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I believe the horn on the left is the same brush. It’s been dubbed the Poor Man’s Chubby. Fantastic brush with a lot of scrub and backbone. Typical feel of most best badger, but way more backbone. Not as soft as Simpson Best, per se. Like an Omega boar straight out of the box. Softens with some use, but is always going to be scrubby. My opinion is that most horse hair is like pure badger. It’s soft because of lack of backbone. The short lofted whites are the best. (For me.) The butterscotch is a a little softer knot that I bought as an Epsilon???? That one is the best horse brush I’ve ever owned. Backbone, and it really softened up.
Thank you Bruce. The Karve is developing a nice patina. It will be interesting to compare how much when the new plates arrive next week. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Soap Commander has been hanging on in my top three for years. Performance is right up there, but not sure anyone has them beat for face feel, post shave.
Bee-u-tee-ful photo, Jim!! Is the soap more lavender than peppermint, or does the peppermint take over the lavender?
