Thanks Jason! I cried a little at first, but it really wasn't too bad. When it happened, it felt sorta like...
Now that's an impressive lineup! And kudos to you for being the first to go "off script" and add another level of alliteration for us!
Adjustable August means I get to play with all my adjustable toys! Here's the grouping along with my mug of Arko, ready to go! I won't be using Arko for every shave, but I will be using it to trial the Personna 74 blades and maybe a couple more. Can't wait to put all of these razors into play this month!

I will be continuing my commitment to learning the straight razor for the 2nd month. Everything seems less awkward and more comfortable now. If time allows, I have been able to get Socially Acceptable Shaves with 2 or 3 passes. I pick up a safety razor still to finish when I want to get closer. I want to progress further and get better with the open blade. Sometimes I use a Parker Variant to finish with. I rarely used it wide open before, now I rarely use it on anything but wide open. Using a straight has really sharpened my touch and feel sensations. I good trip to take!
Today it is lower at 50%. Basically miserable. We are not used to this kind of heat. Over the weekend it was only 95F but 80% humidity. Usually for summer we are in the 80's
Thanks to you and others for the support and initial advice. Not sure if it is just a month away though. You will know it when you see me using the Keithmax Scoring System..... "Irritation A+ Closeness A+ Smoothness A+ Sharpness A+

Congrats on your straight razor progress! Nice job sticking with it. I agree that learning to shave with an open blade will help you improve your technique with any type of razor.
