Had a super smooth shave with English blade .BBS in 2 and 1/2 passes .Razor was finished on a Belgian Coticule .Blade had great balance and handled well .

Tonight's shave was a fantastic shave. I wiped away 2 days growth, with 2 passes, with little effort. The end result was a BBS shave. This is one of my top shavers.

Razor- W.H.Morley & Son's, Clover Brand. Hamburg Ground, Germany.
Brush- RazoRock 400 with WD High Mountain Badger.
Soap- Arko/Sandalwood
Aftershave- Florida Water

 

It is always a pleasure to see this razor but even more so that it is not just a show piece but in regular use.

Puma Inox Special 6/8 modded for the Japanese market (aka a shorty). This razor is one of my test razors that I use to test hones, in this case the one that it is sitting on. Soap was ABC hard soap (lovely stuff) lathered with a TOBS Super Badger. D. R. Harris Pink capped the shave. The stone is a winner!

Haven’t really posted anything for a few days. So here is Monday nights shave.
Small “The Pippin” razor, it definitely needs some time on the stones, not the best shave/ feeling at all, but I was able to complete my shave.

I love this razor, but I can only get a few shaves out of it, before I have to hone it again. Kinda weird, as I don’t have to do this with my other razors. I gave a great shave, but not as comfortable as it usually is, so I know it needs honing, before I use it again.
