    Thanks Douglas. I used to be able to create different backgrounds easier when we lived in a ranch house. Now our bathroom is upstairs and I aim fortunate that the granite makes for a nice look.

    Waited 2 days and change to get this shave in with the Karve & F plate. And Gents, it did not disappoint. Took down the growth like a hot knife to butter in 2 passes and a Adam’s Apple touch up. A BBS finish that was first class and rivals any safety razor I’ve used, period. Very good blade feel with efficiency yet still quite smooth. Not like the D or E plate smooth as it was not a mindless shave, but close enough to where you could shave relatively comfortably with sound technique and not nic yourself or bring out the weepers in mass. Just an excellent shave. Have a great evening and shaves Gents... ;)

    Tonight's shave was with a newly restored and honed blade. I had a wonderfully Smooth and Noisy 2 pass shave, that left me BBS. Zero issues, just a nicely made razor. I will say, this is almost as noisy as the Russian Razors I own.

    Razor- "Tonsorial Gem". F.A.Clauberg, New York. Made in Germany
    Brush- JR#262. Ebony and Birdseye Maple. WD Silvertip Badger.
    Soap- Arko/Sandalwwood
    Aftershave- Osage Rub. (Note to self: Don't rub your eye, after applying).

    Razor: Gillette Superspeed Flair Tip
    Blade: Treet Classic
    Brush: Fine Angel Hair Synthetic
    Soap: Siliski Soaps- Masculine Musk
    Post: Van Yulay 4 seasons lotion


    Refreshing shave this morning. The Siliski Masculine Musk whipped up a creamy lather that held a crazy amount of water without breaking down. Managed a DFS with no nicks or noticable irritation. Finished off with VY 4 Seasons lotion which smells kind of christmasy. Hope everyone had a great shave!
