The day is done. Well, except for sitting here trying to catch up with you guys, set up my meds for the week, read a little news, check on you guys again, try to stay awake and finally give up and get some sleep. Sunday nights have become a new adventure for me with the extra workload on the weekends but it's all good. Getting to finish the day and the weekend with a shave makes it all better.
Day 18 on the Personna 74. The Toggle still in command and I chose the Electric Sheep. I think I deserve the luxury of the mutton tallow and the scent profile of this one will help keep my eyes open a bit longer. This version of the mutton lathers and handles just like the regular Sheep unscented. It just adds citronella and eucalyptus to the mix to make your nose dance. Good stuff.
Eighteen shaves on a single blade. It's now survived through 6 different razors. If it can survive four more it will have made it a full 30 days. That would be pretty amazing in my book. It still feels smooth, didn't cut or give any other issues, just the after burn from some irritation as it continues to wear with each shave, but the finish remains a very nice DFS. No reason to take it out now. It gets shave 19 tomorrow in a razor yet to be selected and announced. I've used all of the adjustables in my stock other than the Type M Schick Injector but as long as the P74 remains in play I'm sticking with DE for the month. Less than two weeks to go to make it through the month.
Happy Monday to you all tomorrow!
