Adjustable (Arko) Anything Goes and whatever else we decide AUGUST!!!! August 25 Razor - Type M Schick Injector (Wide Open) Blade - (??) Soap - Stirling Iced Pineapple Brush - Stirling Two Banded Synthetic Post - Alum Third and final shave for the Type M this month. I switched to the Stirling Iced Pineapple and smaller synthetic and got a super lather going. Two passes and touch ups and a very nice DFS is in hand with no blood tonight. I took it a bit slower and made sure to keep pressure off. The menthol in the soap gave me a nice face freeze and the after-shave feel is smooth and really nice. The wife approves. Six more days in August and it will be SEptember! Get those single edge razors out and ready to go! Should be another great month. As for the rest of tonight - 58 combined law enforcement agencies are running a "saturation Saturday" for drunk driving tonight. Those of us driving Uber/Lyft are expecting a busy and profitable night. Thanks cops! We owe you a donut!

The razor was preloaded with a (Personna) blade and felt rather rough/aggressive. Replaced the blade with another Personna blade - and that made a difference ... ;-)

SE Sunday's Shave Cold Water Wash Colgate Shaving Mug Soap Jayaruh #312 Gem 1907 Lather Catcher Original Gem Cutlery SE CWR Florida Water My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Colgate Shaving Mug Soap face lathered well with the Jayaruh #312 brush. I did two passes with the Gem 1907 Lather Catcher Razor with an Original Gem Cutlery SE blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Florida Water. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
Excellent scrub I used Cantu pre shave scrub for the first time and I liked it. I saw when I was with my wife at Sally beauty supply. it's a big tub for $5 and it will last a very long time. The shave was superb - close and completely comfortable. Sunday's action: L'Oreal Men Expert Facial Wash Razorock Plissoft 26mm Monster Super Speed/new Wilkinson RVT Frosty Bay Rum SS Prep ASB Krampert's Bay Rum AS Splash Aramis EdT If my other soaps and creams could talk they would scream bloody murder because it seems like I've been ignoring them which is actually not my intention - it's just that since I've discovered these South African beauties I'm sort of addicted to them. The Frosty Bay Rum lathered with a passion, its delicious scent filled the bathroom, and after two straight days of no menthol the cooling effect felt heavenly. This Prep is made by Aspen Phamaceuticals in South Africa as well and it's the exact same formulation as the Italian one, it works the same great way as a pre/post cream - I myself prefer it as a post-shave balm because it's so cooling and soothing. Brian's Bay Rum aftershave is so awesome. Smooth as a baby's tukhis in three glorious passes!
