Thur 30th Aug Today a 50/50 Shave, Vintage v New. RazoRock Plissoft 24mm P & B Pall Mall A. On RHS- ER Streamline - Gem S/S [2 ] B. On LHS ATT SE-G modified B/Plate - Gem S/S [ 2 ] Floid Vigoroso A/S Lotion I chose to use the Vintage Razor on my more difficult RHS,was much smoother today as the blade worn in. The SE-G I used on the left. Resultant Shave was very good on both sides, though I felt that the SE-G worked a bit better around the Chin. Will reverse the roles tomorrow.

Pre: Warm water face wash Brush: S_J Zebrano 24mm ST Cream: TOBS No.50 (sample) Razor: Gem MMFW Blade: Gem Stainless PTFE Post: Warm then cold water rinse, Floid Mentolado Vigoroso ASL Not a bad shave, but the scent isn't really for me and although I didn't find it drying, the post shave is nonexistent. Not one I'll be buying.
The Eufros soap performance wise is very top tier and the scent is excellent. The only other Rose I have, is Rose of Bulgaria cream and for the money it's very good but the scent is just a little sweet, it's also the only splash I have and that's more than a little too sweet. Any recommendations?
Thanks to the recommendation of a fellow wet shaver, I picked up these Personna 74* blades. These are every bit as sharp as my trusty vintage Schick PTFEs, but the Personnas are FAR more comfortable on their first outing. What a smooth shave! Now, I just hope they last as long as my the PTFEs. In terms of mileage on a blade, a single head and face shave is roughly the equivalent of 2 face shaves. As it is, I easily get 7-2.5 pass head-and-face shaves from the PTFEs. In addition to this 7-pack, I have 5-11-blade magazines en route.

Fri 31st Aug Vintage v Modern- 50/50 Shave RazoRock Plissoft 22mm P & B Citrus Royale A. RH side, ATT SE-G, modified B/Plate- Gem S/S [ 3 ] B. LH side, Ever Ready Streamline- Gem S/S [ 3 ] Pitralon Classic A/S Lotion. I decide to continue this head to head while the blades in each Razor were still fresh. Today on my more difficult RH side I used the ATT SE-G, and while it was very smooth I found it required more work to get it as close as yesterday with its rival. The Streamline was excellent working on the other side and had no difficulties in any area.Overall though the finished Shave was really very good, ultra close and irritation free. It would be rather unfair to compare the Razors Closely, as the ATT SE- G was not as it came from the Vendor, but the base plate had been modified by a Shaving colleague. Neither he nor I had much luck with the Factory fresh model. I think the Streamline has the beating of the modified SE-G as it is less fiddly to load, and I am not too sure about the design of the cover locking latch . Price wise a Streamline in good condition should be a lot cheaper than the ATT SE-G, and though not S/S should last a lifetime.
