Brian, I don't comment as much as I should on your razors... I guess I just know they are always top quality. But just a Gorgeous W&B and BB! Thank you for sharing.

Lovely over/under there too @mrchick ! It will be autumn and bird season before long, the setters are impatient...

New Video Up for all you wanting to watch the shave click the link below
    SOTD:
    Preshave: Proraso White
Strop: CastleShave English Bridle 3” Strop
    Brush: 24mm Yaqi Synthetic
ShaveSoap: Green Earth Natural Shave Soap Lemongrass Scented
Razor: Gold Dollar W59 with Ozuku Asagi edge
AfterShave: Barrister & Mann Le Grand Chypre
    Bowl: Castle Shave lather bowl

This was an excellent Shave! The shorter cutting edge allows you to maneuver the razor to get hard to reach areas. Although I obtained a few weepers in the process, I did obtain an excellent overall shave!

I have basically the same razor. It should read: "Set Ready For Use, And Universally Approved".

Todays shave was with a perfectly ground, and super sharp, German Razor. I had the perfect 2 pass shave, with BDBS results. Excellent razor, in all respects. If I found another, in decent shape, I wouldn't hesitate to buy it. Sometimes, the lesser known razors are the best. This is no exception. I also used two different brushes, in a comparison. Results in the Brush section.

Razor- Lessman Bros. "Angelian Steel". Germany.
    Brushes-
    1. JR#262, Birdseye Maple and Ebony. With Whipped Dog Silvertip Knot.
    2. RazoRock 400, with Whipped Dog High Mountain Badger Knot.
    Soap- Arko Stick
    Aftershave- Florida Water

Thanks a lot! I’ll try to keep posting more, my goal is to bring the time frame down but also encourage more people to get into wet shaving.

Has a fantastic shave with this French lady.
Was BBS in no time. This old girl shaves better than my T.I. razors.Took an extremely keen and smooth edge. This razor surprised me.Awsome steel. But it was a bear to hone the first time.Took over an hour to set bevel with 1K Sharpton Glass.Really hard steel.
I thought Razor Rock Emperor was the perfect soap to use with this razor.Have not used this soap in six Months.Worked real well.Great cushion and slickness.

    M. Abdallah Philadelphia (German made) 6/8. Nice razor, with the scales and blade decoration this one could go in the 'Pimp Sticks' thread! Cream was ABC lathered with a Persian Jar 2 Best, followed by a splash of Harris Pink.

    Cheers, Steve
