    September 5 SOTD:

    Razor: Ever-Ready 1914
    Blade: Gem Stainless
    Brush: Razorock Plissoft
    Lather: Speick Shave Stick
    Aftershave: Clubman VI Bay Rum
    Additional Care:
    Osage Rub
    Stirling Unscented PSB

A nice two pass DFS with the 1914. I really like this shave stick, and if the AS has a similar scent, I may have to look into getting some. It was a nice start to my Wednesday. I hope everyone has a great day!

  6. Thank you, Jim!

Great photo! I have Speick aftershave and shaving cream in the tube, but not the shave stick. The splash and the cream have the same scent. I really enjoy it and the performance is excellent.
  7. Have a great day Clint.
  8. Excellent picture of fine gear Jim.
  9. Looking good Perry. :happy096:

Executive Man is some good stuff!
    Fantastic photo, Clint!
Very nice, Perry! I almost went with SDM as the Stirling SEptember sample, but now that its getting cooler I decided to go with Vanilla Sandalwood.
    Professional shot there Jim!
Excellent setup, Brian! Where have your travels taken you to this week ?
  19. Thank you. I’m in Topeka.

  20. Wednesday morning September 5

    Schick E2 / Personna ( 3 )
    Simpsons CH2 Synthetic Bristle
    Fendrihan Lavender Sandalwood soap sample
Alum and Thayers Witch Hazel Original and Florida Water

I am going to go back to using this sample for awhile and see if I can't finish it off this month. It's not as slick as Stirling or my other favourite tallow soaps, but it's certainly adequate. Easy shave today, two passes, no drama, a bit of a sting from the alum at the corner of my mouth but no blood visible, witch hazel for any irritation and Florida Water for the finish.
