The Dart is a beast of a razor, remember light touch. And it tends to like a little bit steeper angle. Sent from my Galaxy using Tapatalk
I will remember that thanks. I’m a big R41 fan. I like Aggressive razors might be right in my Wheel House. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
In terms of blade feel it's the most aggressive razor I own. In terms of efficiency only two other can match it the ATT H2 and Rex on 6.5. Once I got the angle dialed in I could pull off a two pass BBS consistently without irritation. Sent from my Galaxy using Tapatalk
Sounds good. Next on my list is the Rex. I’m on the first list for the Rex Ambassador pass around. Would like to check it out. Hope it agrees with me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I have ordered a gift set of Stetson Fresh aftershave. Apparently it has been discontinued, which is my luck.... I also have a brush holder coming from @wchnu cause he is the MAN!!!! I also have a GEM push button coming on loan from across the street so I can use it for some shave videos!
Nothing fancy here but thought it time to give this Tech a whirl. The listing said 1943 but I didn't think brass would have been used in '43. I guess it was (?) but this handle is different from the 43 Service Set on Mr Razor. Mismatch??
I'm not sure about the mismatch. That handle appears on some other razors of the era, notably the Flat Bottom New, so it's period correct. I'd sooner think it was a case of Gillette using whatever handle was available.
Just ordered this from Andrew shave shop. Can't wait to get it as well a GEM Jr. These are razors I've wanted for a while, and I'll be happy to have them.
I'm also waiting for a hammered copper shave bowl that I bought for $7 on eBay. The shipping takes a few weeks, but for that little money, I can wait.
all the flat bottom techs i have seen and own have the gillette crest and made in england stamped above the slots.service sets are stamped below the slots,,but there may be exceptions of course...
A tub of Tiki Bar Soaps 1920s Barbershop. Hopefully I'll get along with this, the GEM SE didn't like me.
Oh man. That sucks Primo, in this day and age you would figure we would have come up with a safe way to transport alcohol by now. Wonder if Maggards is going to carry this scent.
