Open Comb Central - The Place With Real Teeth (No R41, Hybrid or Closed Combs)

It's its own thing alright. But again there is a safety bar so technically it's not open.

 

I agree but it's a truer hybrid than the R41.

 

It's a safety bar with teeth.

 

A little over 1oz of tungsten putty between them and both SC and LC are now as perfectly balanced as the New Deluxe.

What's your favorite blade thus far in the DeHaven?

 

I've only tried the Proline B & P and the Feather Pro and it's the Feather.
What about you?

 

I think the Proline..I have one lined up to check my memory.

 

I like them both but my worst shaves were with the injector size blades.

 

I just have the AC Proline.

 

Excellent stuff.

 

I had forgoten about the Probak OC razor I had sitting on my shelf. So I loaded it with an Astra SP blade, prepped and lathered. Two passes and a light touch up later and I had a nice smooth comfortable BBS. I think this razor will go into my regular rotation.
