OK, I know that last one was a bit subjective, but let’s just call it poetic license. Enjoy your Sunday, shave brethren!

    Good morning, friends!

Great shave this fine Sunday morning. My usual two pass with touch up. Near BBS. I smell too good to be pushing the mower around the yard.

    Have a great day! [IMG]

  3. Great shave and photo Jim. How was the brisket? Also, good luck with the lawn.

  4. Thank you, Clint.
The brisket came out ok. A bit dry. This was my first time doing just the flats. I normally do whole briskets and they come out great. I think the fatty point protects the leaner flat and keeps it from drying out. My wife loved it but I'm more critical of my cooking.[IMG]

I just missed the Baby this morning, but that was after just two passes. It was a terrific start to my Sunday. I pulled out the Ben Franklin for the first time in a while. This used to be my favorite scent, but it has since been surpassed. It is still a favorite, and I don't even get any pickle scent to it. I hope everyone has a great day!
  8. Thank you, Jim!

I decided to change things up some for the week. I'll stay with the Gem blades but modify the blade to work in the OneBlade. The SOC loaded and lathered the MW easily. I like the way the oakmoss rounds out the earthiness of the vetiver. It makes the scent much brighter than the Mike's Vetiver which is just straight vetiver in all its earthy glory. Two passes and touch ups easily caught the baby with no drama. A splash of Fine Fresh Vetiver and I am ready for a relaxing day ahead. I think I will follow Logan's idea and retire to the sofa with remote in hand. I hope everyone has a great Sunday.
  13. Beautiful photo Jim. Fantastic brush and razor. :happy088:

This soap is just what the doctor ordered. Today the soap went on sticky, gummy and gooey. :)
Added water....better...more...better...even more (starting to get sloppy here)...good...

    Xanadu.
Second use of the Schick Krona inserted into my precious Ranger Tech.
This was like skating on ice. Buffing galore.
3 passes for a marvelous BBS shave.

I reached for the Florida Water, but my eye caught the Proraso.
I called an audible and finished with that lovely, light-menthol juice.
