Thanks, Clint. I need to use the brush more to form a proper opinion. I only have a few shaves with it. I'm going to use it for the rest of the month, that should give me a good idea. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
Hi Pete. All the credit goes to @NCoxSTL. That's his razor, although others here have used them as well during MayHEM. As for me using one... I occasionally use and enjoy shavettes, but I think it would be tough to overcome the blade chatter with a bolt razor. I'm sure Neal will chime in soon to give his two cents, as I know he's used it successfully more than once.
Thank you, Charlie! My hotel is right across the street from the conference, so I shouldn't have to fight traffic too much. The first few days I am there, I should have lots of free time, so I'll see about trying that place out. Thanks for the tip.
Sounds good, Jim. My Bride has been here as well, and she said it was great --> http://www.jeffruby.com/precinct Have fun!
Thank you Andrew & Clint! Pete, you mentioned giving the Weishi a trial with the idea of placing it in a Newbie Starter Set. Has your experience changed your mind? Considering an alternative? I figure Charlie's Aggression Progression might be a bit extreme for folks who haven't joined us here in The 30 DC. Mark it on your calendar - MAYhem 2019. The stainless nut & bolt with a Hi-Stainless Feather blade may look outrageous but it was one of the more conventional blade holders that made an appearance. I didn't try it, but from reports it did shave well.
Sorry guys no time to catch up. I will not be posting for 12 days, I am leaving tonight for a big trip to the US. I am taking 4 friends and 3 teenagers to the US, since no of them have been to the US I will be acting as tour guide. We are going to SF, camping in Yosemite, Death Valley and Vegas. When I am back I will post some pics.
