Lol. almost 10 years in casino surveillance and all I got was this lousy shirt..lol. A favorite of mine.
I’m not sure if it’s the Grooming Dept pre-shave, the new Bismarck, or just focus time with the straight, but the lighter pressure and improved glide is yielding notably better results the last few shaves, and I feel like I’ve turned a bit of a corner. I was a bit surprised to start feeling some irritation on pass #3 until I realized that I hadn’t stropped the blade since my last shave. As @RyX would say “D’oh!” Regardless, I’m really pleased with the continuing improvement with the straight. I’m guessing that I am 50 or 60 shaves in, and I’m getting better results than I did 50 or 60 shaves in when learning DE shaving.
Cartel HQ has a new command center up and running. It's a lousy picture of it but I was really just playing with the camera and seeing how the photo editing would work etc. So far I'm liking the Chrome world. A few sticking points to get fully converted from Windows to Chrome but I think it is possible for me to do so. I'm not a power user of Office or anything like that so no worries about using other options or just working on the web. This thing is FAST - I can give it that without even thinking about it. Boots up in about 2 seconds and it's ready to go. No lag at all other than that caused by Spectrum on the network side. Oh, and the best part? I think I can better manage the cookie inventory with an app.
I've been sticking with my Every Ready 1912 set all month. The results have gotten spectacular with near perfect shaves and no irritation. I just opened my third blade of the month yesterday, and have been happy with the number of shaves I'm getting with the GEM stainless blades.
Ain't that the truth, Randy. I was having dinner with my old friend - you may know him, Jerry Seinfeld - last night, and he's helping me with some new material. I still haven't recovered from yesterday, though. Just as the Kobe Beef entree' was served, his Airbus 380 experienced some severe turbulence. Thankfully, I was able to take a few bites of the Golden Opulence Sundae and a couple of sips of my Chateau d’Yquem before I retired to the guest stateroom for some much needed rest. I may have just overdone it at the Royal International Horse Show yesterday. It was unseasonably warm in Hickstead for this time of year, and wouldn't you know it? All I had was my Wool Ascot and my Neiman Marcus Houndstooth Sport Jacket. (I should have packed my Stefano Ricci Tonal-Stripe Double-Breasted Sport Coat, but it was an impulse trip and I simply threw caution to the wind.) Against the advice of our security detail, Charles offered to make a quick wardrobe stop at Harrod's, but I didn't want to inconvenience our entourage. Besides, Harrod's master Savile Row tailor was on Holiday. Tsk tsk. I just buckled down and gave it the old college try as any proper gentlemen would do in that unfortunate situation. Admittedly, I was more than a little flushed - nearly glowing, but in a gentlemanly way - when I stepped out of the limo yesterday evening on the Heathrow airstrip. Thankfully, I'm resting comfortably back in Kentucky this evening. I have my jug of shine, a dip of chaw, and I'm currently reviewing my new material. More to come, but I'll tell you this...you'll be grinnin’ like a possum eatin’ a sweet tater when you read my next few posts.
