Getting this taken care of well before the time change tonight. It's Thursday, my day off, and the day I shave my head as well as my usual. Head shave was the Merkur 23c, VDH Deluxe soap and boar brush and an Astra SP blade. It was a perfect shave, no issues, and a nice start to the process.
Regular shave tonight featured the 7th day for the Treet carbon blade. Stirling Ozark Mountain for the lather win. The blade is finally showing a sign or two of its age as it wasn't quite as effective tonight. Still very smooth and noisy but just didn't quite give me the baby tonight. Still, a high DFS is perfectly fine. No worries at all. The blade went into the bin after the shave and I'll figure out tomorrow what setup to move to. I've really had a great run with the 1914 and 1912 with the Treet blades. I am thinking of moving to a Schick but the Gems have my attention.
I ordered some supplies from Stirling today. Got my full tub of Sheep and Iced Pineapple coming along with a few more samples. Should be good stuff! Tonight's picture is brought to you by my new laptop and photo-editing app. I feel like I've stepped a bit deeper into the 21st century. One strange quirk about the Chromebook - there is no "delete" key on the keyboard. I puzzled at that a bit, knowing that "backspace" can do the same thing but it seems wrong not to have the "delete" key. What if I have to "Ctrl-Alt-Delete" to reboot.......oh.......yeah.......that's a Windows thing. It's the small differences like that one that will drive me slightly insane for a few days.
Friday is next!! Weekend is close!!!
