Pretty much all month...

I'm going to bring that up with Rod when I see him in a few weeks. I was going to email him with a request to bring it back but figured a face to face request might bear more weight. After all, I am the Czar around here so being face to face will bring my regal authority and stature more to bear. Of course, when I resort to begging on my knees it's a better visual in person than a picture in an email.

Can't go wrong with the Schick E. I agree - more efficient than aggressive but I get where it earned its reputation from.

I don't know that congratulations is exactly the right word for the memory of Mary but I think you get my intent. Very nice remembrance and yes, you have been blessed. Life isn't always easy nor fair, but you have come this far with great success in spite of the obstacles. Well done.

Looks like a week ahead of Indian Summer here. It might mean more cream/foam shaves for me than soap/brush, but I'll make sure to "sneak in" a soap/brush shave here and there. It's just that I am terribly eager to get to the cold weather soaps(plus the TSD Russian Leather A.S. I still have). We shall see what I come up with.

I might include Osage as part of my 2019 Ed Pinaud Purchase Package(they have it on the website). Try saying those 3 P's 10 times fast!

Great Monday shave today. The Micromatic clog pruf was awesone with the Omega soap. Since it is Monday added even more Menthol with some daylogic brisk. I smell all old and stuff tonight.

Not calling this a time warp. Yeah, I know it's 12:04 but it wouldn't be if I hadn't stopped to rate and review my photo app on Chrome. Priorities all screwed up. Anyway, it's another night with the Type E along with Stirling Iced Pineapple. I couldn't resist staying with an "Iced" soap, especially since it's Menthol Monday. Plus, this soap is nearly as good as Iced Coffee in my book. The Schick did a fine job again except for one small bleeder on my right neck. What happened you ask? Well, who knows, really. I suspect too much pressure but I didn't feel it when I got it and it just showed up after the fact. It did take a bit of styptic to close it down so it was one of my worse ones lately.

I did end up with a near-BBS finish and I'm perfectly fine with that. Another great SE shave in the books as we work our way through the final week of the month! Enjoy your Tuesday!

Far too kind. I've decided that red Barbasol has a really nice "barbershop thing" going on. Kinda powder and sandalwood. And propane and synthetic awesomeness.

Back to Voskhod. It's not the smoothest blade ever for learning DE, but it is awesome in the Magic. No tugging ever.

Lately, I've had about six irons in the fire and two dogs in the fight, but things are getting back to normal at Yakuza Plains HQ. Whatever you want that to mean. I don't even know what that means anymore. Maybe in a good way.
