@jtface said he wanted to see what my "OC entrants" box of junk razors looked like when they were cleaned up.
Well, last night I took that box of uncleaned OC razors (plus the two grungy ones already in my rotation) and dug out the Dawn dishsoap, toothbrush and squirt bottle of Scrubbing Bubbles. I swished all the razors in Dawn-filled soapy water, scrubbed them with a toothbrush and left them to soak overnight in the soapy water. Then this morning rinsed off the Dawn, squirted with Scrubbing Bubbles, scrubbed with the toothbrush again, and gave a final rinse and towel dry. The result: nine razors that look exactly like the Before picture that Charlie
@wristwatchb posted earlier of his Delta Echo refurbished NEW LC -- clean, serviceable and hardly a scrap of finish left among the lot of them:

I make it 5 Old Type Ball Ends, one dated 1916, two dated 1918, two without serial numbers which places them between 1921 and 1929, one Old Type Single Ring without a serial number so also made between 1921 and 1929, then three undated NEW LCs. Needless to say, not a single crack-free handle in the entire lot of Ball Ends. Do I have a great collection of grungy razors or what? Eat your heart out everyone with minty ones!

I will try them out this month and see how they shave...
