1. Bought the lot for the Waterville .Can not wait to restore her .The Waterville horn scales have been eaten by bugs .Not sure if I am gone to use Buffalo horn or very colorful Kirinite Scales.I included a pic of the Kirinite scales . water1.jpg KSCALES.jpg razor lot .jpg
  2. I love the Waterville Razor i used, yesterday. Cool looks, delicate, yet a great shaver.
  3. A sentimental purchase, actually a repurchase, of a Robeson ShurEdge.
This was my first vintage razor purchase, and I think I got it shaving just off a Naniwa 12k, as that was all I had. I gifted it on to another new shaver and have not had another Robeson since.

Always loved the motto on the blade face. This one has lost some of the hammered tang due to some grinding I guess, but still a great blade. And it is the same model 15-A-250 that I had previously... I guess I have a Medium beard with a face exposed to the weather. :)

  7. Nice looking razor. How is that spine, on the strop?? It looks like it might be hard on them.

  14. "Lion Brand"#601
    By Yankee Cutlery.
    Camel Bone Scales.

It came very sharp. I will test it later.
I just stropped it. It was tree topping but failed the HHT. So, to the stones it goes.

This one also came very sharp, from the same seller. Probably an estate sale, or find. Someone took care of them.

  16. Definitely a great way to come home. Bruno does do some cool designs.
  17. They both look good. Two in a row that treetop? That’s more than what has ever shown up at my place shave ready. Most that I’ve recieved would barely cut butter.
  18. Got this in yesterday

  20. Thanks.
I was surprised, at first, that it was tree topping, and after stropping, it was only HHT cutting on a small portion of the blades. My arm hair, for the tree topping is much coarser than my wife and daughters fine blonde hair, used for the HHT. Their hair is used as a standard for me.
I was just amazed it still had that good of an edge, after many years of storage, without damage. Also, only slight tarnish. These should clean up nicely.
